What's new

Following potential 2015 draftees

I like Lyles. He seems very mature and makes some very intelligent plays on the basketball court. He's got good size, is a good enough athlete, but most importantly, the Jazz are banking on him being hardworking and playing smart, winning basketball on every play.

Could be the case. That just doesn't sound exciting when you're talking about a draft prospect.

However, it sounds good when I'm not screaming at my tv over someone making a bone headed play.

Took me a bit to make this, but it looks pretty good to me.

who dat?

Another Angle to consider is "Fit".

Do you guys really think Oubre would want to stay in Salt Lake and be happy here long term? I'm not sure, I don't know him personally. But Kaminsky sure won't be happy here. He didn't even want to workout here let alone play here - and he's well WITHIN OUR DRAFT RANGE!!!! C'mon now.

I think that leaves us with Turner to consider. He would be a great fit here with his #humble attitude. A great fit for this great city of ours and a great representative for our people who value humility above all else as well. Just seems to fit our culture to the T as well. (T for Turner).

Ehhh, just draft Turner or Oubre and call it a night.

Talent is talent. Take the best guys and figure out the contract issues when there's a deadline to worry about. Success breeds happiness.

It's not just the contractual issue. Our culture is the best thing we've got going for us at the moment. The last thing I would want is a guy who is not interested in being here and coming in and ruin that culture.

I'll wait 'til he says something more definite before I'm anti-Kaminsky. I really like his game. But I like Turner more. Fingers crossed.
Some actions speak louder than words though. If we're within his range and he doesn't come. I mean he isn't going to come outright and say anything.

With Exum he didn't expect to drop that far so that's fine. Kaminsky isn't a lock to go top 10 by any means.
