Following potential 2015 draftees

Almost nobody is talking about Portis, which leads me to believe that there are a lot of teams high on him. There is really no upside for franchises to be gushing over players. When they do, it is almost certainly a smokescreen. Also, we really, really need one of the top 11 to fall in love with Payne. That would be awesome. . .

The draft is over rated... Check ball already! You can't hide after the draft is over

Yep...draft is a poker game but when we turn the cards we see who is real.

What with the recent news of WCS's foot I wonder if he falls to 12. I kinda think that would be awesome. Unless his foot issue turns out to be another Borschardt.

WCS falling to 12 would be nice. Just imagine Gobert and WCS swatting shots after shots throughout every game.

Embiid's issues has me a bit concerned about any big man with foot problems. I hope it's just a smokescreen. I don't want a guy who is going to have a short career. Worst case scenario, the Jazz need someone with potential that they can develop as an asset for a future trade.

Ideal situation would be WCS falls to 12 and Boston gets really desperate.

#12 for #16 + #28

or

#12 for #16 + a future first

I think the talent is really the same from about 10-18.

If we don't want stein then we should keep it and draft Oubre or johnson or whoever else is there. I really don't like the teens in this draft.

Yeah, but I don't know that I like having more picks. I don't think we have too many empty roster spots. I'd say quality > quantity although you feel like we'll get the same quality at 16 as we would at 12. I hope Turner's there at 12, although WCS would be nice too.

I'll say it again: there are a lot of players I like in our range. Just don't draft Dekker.

Players I'd be happy Jazz got:
KAT, Russell, Porz, Hez, Johnson, Oubre, Turner, Kaminsky, WCS, Looney.

I'd be ok with but slightly less happy about:
Portis, Booker, Lyles.

That's 13 players and I didn't include Okafor, Mudiay, or Winslow - who are all expected to go before the Jazz pick = 16 players.

Can't wait.

This is tough to predict what's going to happen. So many ways the Jazz can go. Same with the draft.

Crap, is that Rudy in the ring?

I think this is why I don't like Trey lyles.

Trey lyles
Trey Burke
Alec Burks

Just too much for my feeble brain.
