Official Houston Astros Thread

So how did you like the game? Huge winning streak.

Also, Altuve is up to 9 multi-hit games in a row. 1 more would tie him for the most since like 1970.

Honestly, out of all the stadiums in Houston, Minute Maid is the best. I LOVE that place. My buddy and I were commenting on how much we love watching games there. It's not real crowded yet but I think it will become more if the Astros keep it up. The nice thing about this time of year is they keep the top open. When it heats up they'll start closing the dome and air conditioning the stadium, but for now, it's really awesome having the cityscape visible during the games.

Yeah, Altuve is the man. People here love him. Tp be honest, I don't follow baseball like I do basketball so I couldn't give a sound appraisal of how the Astros played, but I will defend them to the death! Everyone in the stadium wears either an Altuve, Biggio, or Hoes jersey.

Giants starting to show some life, sweeping the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Southern California USA.

Keuchel lost again, wtf is going on with him. He started the year like a bawse with a 7-0 record or something.

Baseball y'all....

Whitesox suck.

Every one of these players is now on my fantasy team.

Salt Lake Trapp'stros

You know W/L are irrelevant for pitchers, right?

You know that ERA is relevant for pitchers, right?

Keuchel started off 6-0 through his first nine games with three no decisions.

His ERA at that point was 1.67.

He is now 8-3 through 15 games with four no decisions.

His ERA now is 2.35.

He walked 21 batters in his first 12 games. He's walked 9 in his past four. Thats a half a walk increase per game (1.75 to 2.25). Might not seem like much but it is.

He gave up 3 HR in his first 12 games. He's given up 4 in his past four games.

So his ERA has increased by 0.68, his walks per game has increased by 0.50, and he's given up four homers in his last six compared to 3 in his first nine.

**** out of here, all I said was he's struggling as of late (compared to what he started at) and I'm right. Stop coming at me with these dumb remarks.

He's still a dominant pitcher and set the bar high at the beginning of the season, so there will be a set back. But stop acting like I know nothing dumb***.

Struggled? What's his era in the last 4-6 games? I'd hardly say he's struggled.
