Following potential 2015 draftees

Big rumor that the Jazz will pick this guy..

Locke makes such a gratuitous mess every time he tries to pronounce Hezonja, that it makes me think the Jazz are targeting him in a big way.

@1280Spence: Hearing Jazz have two targets tonight, hoping one is there at 12 but willing to trade up if not. Stanley Johnson and Justice Winslow.

Locke's Tipoff today thinks Hayward + 12 would get the Knicks pick at 4. It depends on whether the Jazz would make that move, obviously.

Locke thinks the Jazz could get #10 from Miami if we take a contract like Josh McRoberts to help them free cap space. Miami likes Monta Ellis and is going to offer a big deal to Goran Dragic.

He thinks that Jazz would pass on WCS and Cameron Payne.

Jeez- I would thin that 12 plus hayward would get you number 2 at least. I think Locke is exaggerating how hard it is to move up. I am sure the Lakers would would be all in. I think so

Locke's Big Board has Hezonja completely omitted from the top 15 - 20 picks. Again, there is something about Hezonja that makes Locke just refuse to acknowledge his existence. Locke's excuse is -- "I haven't watched him."

And yet, Locke likes Rakeem Christmas in the 2nd round.

Locke also refuses to comment on the Millsap story. He says he hasn't heard anything on it, that it's Spence Checketts' thing.

Locke talks to all kinds of NBA sources, but doesn't bother to talk to Spence?

To me, that just adds validity to the leak.

At the bottom, it says that he didn't study him so he didn't include him.

I'd love to get Miami's #10 pick if all it would cost is taking on McRoberts for 3 years. McRoberts was injured this last year but he can still play, can't he?

Which is pretty ****ing stupid. Mario is quite possibly a top 5 player in this draft, but let's leave him out completely because we didn't take the time to watch some game tape. Laughable.

I might consider the Hayward +12 for 4 deal.

It sounds intriguing until you realize that Porzingis putting up Hayward numbers after 5 years in the league would have him being regarded as a pretty good success. Then you take into account his enormous bust potential the fact that he is 19 AND that we've already done our waiting with Hayward (and others) and it's just about to payoff.

And it doesn't seem like a tough choice anymore

*unless Towns, Russell, or Okafor were there at #4

I don't buy these leaks.. like, at all.

I mean, what message does that send your current team/players? We are targeting so and so.. and that so and so plays a position we already have filled. For what purpose? Whether it's sincere or a smokescreen, it just doesn't have real benefit. I think 9/10 are simply made up.

(I was paid to say this.)
