Following potential 2015 draftees

Knicks keep pursuing deals to move out of No. 4 spot and back in lottery, league sources tell Yahoo.

I like Russell, but I'm not sure I'd take him ahead of Okafor. He's a good shooter, but not a GREAT shooter like Curry. He's a good, shifty athlete, but not as explosive to the rack as Harden. Curry has to throw a lot of funk to get by defenders off the dribble. Russell is going to have to do the same. I like him, but think he's getting a bit overhyped.

Okafor is a steady double-double and go-to scorer. Easily an All Star-caliber talent, especially if he ends up in the Eastern Conf.

I dont even know who to have a biased opinion on now that we might get everyone and lose all our current players.

What are the Utah Jazz?

Our struggles are nothing compared to what Locke is facing. He's still calling some of them Her Lasanga, Horzinga and Porzinga(as recent as his this morning) ... Imagine we pick one of them and he has to interview them and present them to Jazz nation.

So excited for tonight. WE'RE SO CLOSE to being a playoff team - we're just adding players who will improve our depth... a young team... if players want to win they'll come play for the Jazz. Many of our players are still improving and haven't reached their full potential - these days are so much better than the days of Boozer, Williams & Okur - it just feels different.

A few notes from David Locke's interview on 1280:

- The Kings are nutty and don't have consensus on what they want to do. One group wants WCS, one group wants Hezonja, and one group wants to trade out. What the Kings do will strongly affect the rest of the lottery.

- If Winslow gets past Sacto at 6, it's likely he'll slip to 10 at Miami.

- Indiana likes Lyles. They are candidates to take WCS, but if they pass, WCS could drop into the teens (e.g., 15); it doesn't sound like the Jazz are high on WCS.

- Oubre and Booker are both very likely to be available at 12

- Locke thinks this may be the last/best opportunity to trade up and get "elite" talent.

- Detroit expected to take Johnson at 8.

- Charlotte expected to take Kaminsky at 9.

Another source (bleacher report) reports that Russell is likely to go #2. Could be a smokescreen. Philly wants Russell.

Locke thinks Indiana will take Payne or Lyles at 11. WCS is considered risky. David West opted out yesterday and could make Lyles more likely.

Russell is a much better passer than any of those guys though. (According to a scout I heard on the radio this morning, he is an elite level passer)

So excited for today. I hope there is fireworks and we trade up.

I would love to get Winslow, Mario, Mudiay, or Johnson.

**** Porzingis and WCS. I want no part of them.

Pitino said he's the best passer he's seen since Magic. Whether that's true who knows, but the guy has special passing ability and vision. Also has elite handles like Curry, lightening quick release like Curry and is bigger and longer than Curry. Sure, doesn't shoot as well, but nobody in NBA history does - that doesn't mean he isn't or can't become a great shooter.

Magic 2.0 goes to the Lakers. Makes sense. I heard someone else refer to him as a passing savant.

I think the Russell to LA talk is real. They can land a premium big man in FA and if not, the 2016 draft next year is heavy in bigs especially in the lottery which is where they could end up again.

Small ball is in season and Russell can fill up a stat sheet.
