Jazz need to take on a salary dump player

IMO Aldridge is on the same level as Kevin Love, LMA just has had better supporting cast for the majority of his career.
 
I'd like to get Mills rather than Diaw.

I think the Spurs are building a team that could maybe beat GS. I think Aldridge would have his way with Draymond... Duncan too. I'd have to go check the stats.

Rudy owns LMA... I think we'd have a fighting chance at beating SA in the playoffs. We need to take Mills off their hands to make sure it happens.

Yes, it will probably be Dante Exum and the OKC pick for patty mills.

Booker and all the other non-guaranteed and the GS pick for Diaw.

Dennis takes a job with the Spurs when pop retires.

Also not sure that the fact he got hot for a 2 game stretch an dropped 40 twice in a row supports "getting 40 with ease" as much as it is "He got really hot one time".

Aldridge doesn't get to the FT line consistently enough to drop 40 with ease. He has to have a super human shooting night with high shot volume.
 
But really, I don't know the exact cap situation with San Antonio but if they really need to dump Diaw and Mills, why don't we just take them?

And then just flip Burke for whatever asset we can possibly get.

The only rumor I've heard in the last eight years where the Jazz were even showing interest in just a starter-quality player was all this Millsap garbage a few weeks ago, and I'm not sure it even counts since it really never made much sense for any side. I honestly don't believe the Jazz even try to land players anyone else really wants.
 
Lma has played in 91% of possible games if I calc it right.

He scored 40+ points in 2 playoff games against Houston in 13/14 and had one 40 + game in the 13/14 season and 2 40+ games in 10/11 season.

He has multiple games of 30-39 points.

But what about the disruption to getting a player that might actually be better than Exum and would know it? I'm genuinely asking how this is letting the cake bake.

We win FA if we get Mills for a dump or minor assets.
 
Mills is exactly the type of player the league undervalues... Hits a ton of threes at a high percentage. He could play alongside Exum as well.

Basically Mills is exactly what we wish Trey Burke could be. He's also dirt cheap.

Get Mills and find a new home for Burke... Cake Baked!

But Diaw or Booker (who could be dropped for next to nothing before 07/15/15 according to Locke)?
