2015 Annual JazzFanz All-Time NBA Draft

With the 40th pick in the draft: Grant Hill

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZfYs9FdksbY

One of the great 'what-ifs' in NBA history, early career Grant Hill was a fabulous player who could do it all from the wing. Averaged 21/9/7 in 96-97 while playing excellent defense(in my opinion he was the second best player in the league that season behind Jordan).

1x 1st Team All NBA
4x 2nd Team All NBA

You got the better end of the deal. By a mile. Dropping a million spots to replace West with Stockton?? Do people understand how good Jerry West is?

He offered 39 and West for Stockton. Told him I was hanging on to Stockton. Thought that would be the end of it. Then he came back with West 39 62 for Stockton 106 111. Lol. I was floored a bit so I wrote back to confirm it and he said yes. Didn't want to part with Stockton but WC forced my hand. Lol still didn't want to give up Stockton but I couldn't in good conscience pass on that deal

For me it was between Hill and Worthy. Picked Worthy because I didn't want voters to hold Hills injury plagued career against me, but good pick. I have a feeling he'd have been at lest top of the second round value. If not first round value.

Say what you will now, we'll see how it ends up.

In the end 17 got me 34 and 39, I parlayed 32 and 39 to get 15 so I won that trade, but I lost the 62 for 106 and 111 trade. That's the way I look at it. I lost some value in the trade for now, but in the end I will win it.

Yeah, bit worried about voters "the guy that played for Phoenix?", but we'll see :)

Big Game James was on my list as well.

Lol. That confused the hell out of me. Too many numbers I did have West #12 on my big board was stoked to get that extra pick. That will be huge.

Also just realized Wilt and West are back together. Haha

Extremely underestimating people who spend their lives on a basketball forum.
