2015 Annual JazzFanz All-Time NBA Draft

That's kind of irrelevant. It's not like this draft is actually filling our free time until then. We're doing this for fun, and the fun of it is in the momentum of watching people pick and anticipating your own. Waiting 2 days to pick kills that momentum and thus some of the fun of doing this.

I totally disagree, it makes me more anxious and worried that the guy I want won't be there. Plus you already have five players, some of the teams only had two players at the time. Hell most of us only have three or four.

I dunno I don't mind it, there's more than enough to deal with right now.. Free Agency, Trade period is starting, x2 Summer Leagues...

I will bitch nonetheless...

A couple years back I think we finished the whole draft in like a week... Spy was organising it, PKM was participating and he had all the phone numbers of everyone involved so he was like texting them ALL HOURS asking them about who they're picking, post the player's name, and just moved on.

There were no flash write-ups neither and the whole comp was over in about 2 weeks.

But I mean, do we wanna go back to doing that?

That sounds almost too efficient... I don't mind our current pace, plenty of time still.

I like the write-ups as far as pics and stats go, but it's hard to give a reason for drafting that player when we're not supposed to talk strategy til after the draft???

Yeah.. plus it's only been a week. A WEEK.

We've got another 3 MONTHS before camp starts.
I want to do other drafts. We should do an all time Jazz draft. Anyone who played for Utah at leas one year.
I honestly don't mind waiting, I mean Thee you took three to four hours that one time and you were online. Granted you wanted Allen, but still.

I find myself waiting anxiously to pick then when I'm up I take a good 30 minutes or so to think about it and a good 10 minutes making the post.
That one time being the operative statement and I did pick right away, but Allen had been picked. After that I didn't know who to pick. I didn't want to rush at work and pick the wrong guy so I waited till I got home then life screwed me over and I couldn't get on right away and study who was available, but for the most part I make my picks pretty quickly

I'm always on the site so it does get a little frustrating checking back and seeing only 3 or 4 picks in an 8 to 12 hour span, but I don't really complain. I will from time to time give suggestions to make things better. I have even pmed a few when someone comes otc.

What do you do for a living bro if you don't mind me asking??

It's all Hack's fault. My pick is up in one minute if Anthony Davis is still on the board.

In hindsight, I should have just traded up for both Gary Payton and Anthony Davis. They were the two guys I wanted to round out my starting five with.

I was greedy and hoped they'd both fall to my picks, and then I could use my next two picks to trade up for my 6th man targets. Didn't quite break my way though. Ended up getting Payton, but couldn't pry Davis away from Hack. (I tried.)

My pick at 48 was totally up in the air. I swear that I typed up at least 7 profiles before I finally settled on Webber. Now there's 6 guys that I considered at that pick that I want to try to move up for.

So it's a good thing that Thee exploits people getting old and getting sick?
Well he's proving a service that not many are providing.. filling a gap in the market. Plus he is helping them have a better life? Nothing wrong with that I don't think?

My team so far. . .

PG: Gary Payton
SG: Michael Jordan
SF: Scottie Pippen
PF: Chris Webber
C: Patrick Ewing

Feel pretty good about what I've done in the first 50 picks.

This is a really good two way team. Ewing Pippen Jordan Payton all elite defenders. Honestly I don't remember if CWeb could defend or not.
