What's up guys?

The draft for the fantasy football league that I'm in with my dad, brothers, and friends starts in less than a month. It doesn't hurt to get some ideas from other people and second opinions can be useful. I know some of you have some great knowledge about fantasy football, btw. Here is the rundown.

It's a 4-player keeper league (weird I know) with 12 teams.

The same rules as a standard league, w/ the exception of 6-points per passing TD.

One QB, two RB, two WR, one TE, one Flex, one Defense, and one Kicker.

I finished 3rd last year, but did some maneuvering and was able to trade up from the eighth pick in the draft to the second pick without giving up too much value, mainly to target one of the rookies this year (Gordon, Gurley, Cooper, White) because I know they will be gone quick.

My main players and potential keepers are Calvin Johnson, Justin Forsett, Cam Newton, Greg Olsen, Brandon Marshall, Brandin Cooks, and Frank Gore.

Rough looking team right now I know, but I do think it has potential. Which four players would you keep and why?

Also, I have an offer of Peyton Manning + Kelvin Benjamin for Calvin Johnson on the table. On the fence about it, I could go for the Carolina Panthers offense and keep Newton, Benjamin, and Olsen while flipping Manning to another team for a different piece. Megatron is a hard player to give up though despite his injury plagued season last year and the Panthers could be pedestrian on offense this year.

Would love to hear some thoughts on this, thanks in advance.

CJ, Forsett, Olsen and Cooks is who I'd keep personally....Megatron no explanation necessary he'll be back to form next season. Forsett is a top 10 back for me this season, keeping Olsen gives you an elite TE without having to use a draft pick on him plus TE is hardest position to draft for and are often the difference between winning and losing.....and finally Cooks because he will be the focal point of their offense and is prone for big plays in a big play offense.

You're prolly tempted to keep Cam but imo its waste to keep a QB not named Rodgers or Luck. Plus that will solidify your starting lineup and allow you to build around a solid foundation.

Great post. Olsen is a top-3 TE, imo, and good ones are so hard to find. Outside of the top-5, it's basically a crap shoot. Forsett should be catching a ton of passes this year under Trestman. I'm tempted to keep Cam because QB's are pretty valuable in the league, but I do think a couple of them will be available in the first round (Brees being BPA).

See if I knew who everyone is keeping it would be a lot easier, but I won't know until draft time. If I knew he wasn't keeping Brees (he has four better players, btw), I'd probably keep Cooks to pair up with him.

This league is a $50 league w/ the option to put extra money into the highest scoring team money pot each week.

Each Sunday during nfl season I have anywhere from $300 to $600 on FanDuel, I like to say fantasy sports is my addiction not gambling lol

Is that site legit? I've always wondered, must be if you are putting down that much money. I love fantasy sports, it's truly awesome.

How exactly does it work?

Very legit so is DraftKings, fantasy sports is legal based on the fact that it a game of skill and not luck (at least according to definition but there is a lot of luck involved). You are also 1099 at the end of the year, so there is taxes on our but I mean $1 can turn into $50000 on 1 Sunday completely legit and in your bank account by Wednesday morning.

I will tell you more about it tomorrow or before the season starts but would rather do that over PM because I have 3 years of trial and error and don't want to just give away info
