Following 2016 potential draftees

Frank Jackson top 10 for sho. Probably not but the kid is a GD baller *** MF'er. I guess he is a 17 guy. I'm drunk sorry.

Murray is dominating Pan Am. No 1 in both iso points and percentage. Around %80 iirc.

KENTUCKY OFFERS ON DE'AARON FOX... FINALLY!!! Only been posting about him here for years. He's to cut his list in 2 weeks, was thinking that ship had sailed. I really think its in his best interests to go to UK, who knows if it happens though.

Fox is no joke. Always believed in his skills since the first time i saw him a while back, even when some services dropped him to 4stars and said he was a SG.

Nowadays many are saying he might be, or is, the best PG in the class. I'd hate to see Fox on Louisville or Texas, he's built for the dribble-drive, and would look great on a team full of superior talent. He can stop on a dime, so he pulls up from 3 a bit recklessly some times, he can make them though. He's solid from mid-range, there's some parallels with his game and Wesbrook IMO..

The key is he's of the athletic caliber at PG that can really affect or even take over the pace of the game in a major way, offensively and defensively. I'm not gonna say he's John Wall athletic, but I'd argue with you til im blue in the face that he's not far off. I like him for many of the reasons I was high on Dennis Schroder, and Fox is a 6'4" lefty. He's one of the better defensive PG's you will see, despite being a bit of a gambler..

Ok back to my hiatus.

P.S. - Jamal Murray looks liketop-5quality, at this point I don't think its farfetched to say he looks like the best guard in this class. If the league is truely moving in the direction where players like D'Angelo Russell get selected over Okafor, I can't help but think that bodes well for Murray's chances going high. He's not the most polished player but luckily this kid is totally a natural. He's got this Brandon Roy like quality of being able to get good looks from compromised situations, he interprets the defense very well. The step-back J is sharp as ****, and he's obviously very confident in that move. As he gets stronger and handles the ball better the sky is the limit.

P.S. This kid Taurean Prince on Baylor plays remarkably like DeMarre Carroll, he should end up safely in the top-25, unless he shoots poorly, which I don't see happening. I really like his chances at being a solid NBA rotation player, he's tough as nails. He's got a great demeanor on the court, and from what I've seen, makes big plays in pivotal moments.

P.P.S. These 2 international players in NBAdarfts 2017 mock, Germany's Isaiah Hartenstein and Belgium's Frank Ntilikina look like they have serious lottery potential, even in this absudly strong class. I've gone out of my way to find some film on Ntilikina, He might have a 7' wingspan right now at around 6'4", from what I've read and the footage I hunted down, He looks like a vastly superior version of George De Paula, much better BBIQ. Hartenstein may in fact be better than the forwards not named Harry Giles, he's fantastically skilled at 6'10", Looks like a better version of Gallinari, and surely a better prospect than Sabonis.

If that apparatus is at full extension, this is pretty special, obviously there's a bit of forced perspective going on with the camera work and some Duke fans have been duped into thinking this jump is something close to that urban legend of snatching a quarter off the top of the backboard, It's not that.. He probably reaches about the same height that Dwight slapped the sticker on the backboard during that dunk contest.

Still though, If thats 12'5" he's touching, that Shaq, and D.J. Stephens territory(12'5"), Jst look at DX's database and you will see that's elite territory. which means he's got height and length like Derrick Favors, and a 39" vertical.. (He also has a great handle a pure jumper and plays very under-control/efficiently) Been saying he's a better prospect than Giannis, I'm definitely sticking with that.

My top 5 right now is;

Skal
Ingram
Simmons
Murray
Bender

IMO, that rim does not look like it's at 10 feet. 9'6"ish.

Dude is badass.

Youngest Canadian to play since the 70's and takes over in the 4Q and OT with 22pts including the 3pt shot to force OT.

At PG_AB ---- UK offered D'Fox today.

Canadian media was freakign out about him.

What position is he going to play at UK?

Right now is he being projected late teens. That would be awesome for the Jazz.

Too lazy to double check but I think DX just moved him to #6.

Murray will play mostly at the 2 and 3, but will no doubt get burn at PG. I think he's a PG in the league.

UK will basically start three PG's and have them all play interchangeable roles in the backcourt. Ulis, Briscoe, and Murray is a scary backcourt.

^add to that our center which is slotted #1 by DX and a senior (healthy) Alex Poythress finally playing in position at PF and we're in the hunt again.

Korkmaz certainly is not shy about shooting the ball. Been scoring a lot of points at the U18 Euro Championships, but taking a lot of shots to get there. Turkey has gotten into the semis though.

Question(s): Who are the top offensive prospects in this draft class? Who are the top shooters?

Going back to the '13 draft thread I have been calling this '16 class weak. I will stand by that.
I have been calling '17 quite an epic class. I will stand by that as well.

Having said that, check out Jamal Murray, Malik Newman, Brandon Ingram for starters.

As epic as you said the '14 class would be? That's when I started lurking here and I recall those days. But I think that class was average, nothing more.

I didn't get much (not even worth sharing).
What I heard was simply many comments from non-UK guys raving about what a great kid Lyles is.
Cal asked them all as a group how they feel about the situations they're in and Towns, Lyles, and Booker all raved about the teams their on.
