Exum Injured

Hopefully we can grab an up and coming PG from a team that already has a starting PG (i.e., Schröder from Atlanta).

If not he needs to take a gamble in the next couple of drafts and try to pick out a Tony Parker type pick for us.

Don't need Schoder. If anything this is an opportunity to develop Burks playmaking skills. Give him some backup pg minutes and start Burke, and maybe the one of the other pg's steps up. No need to go panicking trying to sign a 5th pg

omg... he might be out for one season. cant believe people are talking about trading dante.

Also don't think We all of a sudden don't compete for the playoffs just because we may lose Exum. Don't think he's that good yet jazz will rely more on Burke Hood and Hayward more

Schroeder!!!!!!!

Seriously though. Schroeder fits the team age, identity (defense), is a willing passer,, and can push the pace. It's not a bad idea, and in Quin's system, having another good PG paired with a healthy Dante (if he has to sit out this season) wouldn't be too crazy.

Unfortunately, I don't see it happening. It would be too big of a pill to swallow for DL and crew, since Schroeder was available at #14, Gobert was available at #21, and Neto at #47 (our original picks before we burnt picks and cash) in the 2013 draft. It would be the loudest actuon admitting Burke was a bad pick.

Dante's defense was a big part of our success at the end of last season ... you put Burke in there and it's a whole 'nother story.

Don't be an idiot

I didn't read this whole thread, but if someone suggested trading Exum, they're crazy. Unproven and injured with untapped potential. His value is to us, no one else.

Feel for Exum, but with that said, Cotton will lead you guys to a 'ship so in the end it will all work out. Of course, the majority of you will doubt this but just remember this post in a few months.

Most of us love Cotton, duke.... but we also know he's not stopping Westbrook.
