Chet Albanese was among thousands of Utahns who traveled to Lincoln for Saturday’s BYU-Nebraska football game.

A big fan, the 41-year-old Albanese stood outside the BYU team bus Friday as players and coaches left to go through their walk-through.

They did a double-take when they saw Albanese wearing a red Utah Utes hat and shirt.

One perplexed coach asked why he was there.

“To watch you lose,” was the stern, flat response Albanense offered.

Over you
I'm never over
Over you
It's something about you
It's just the way you move
The way you move me

I'm interested to see how Mangum handles the pressure now that he has a full week to prepare for an opponent. Sometimes it's a lot easier to come into a game cold with zero expectations than it is to come into the game knowing that you're the guy.

He looked calm and collected and the offense had some bounce, unlike Heaps. Let's hope that he can remain accurate and avoid turnovers against a very confident and well coached Boise team. I hope fans pack the stadium and make things rough for that Boise offense this weekend.

One really good thing that I hope keeps up and will help Mangum is that BYU only ran in the 70's in the #'s of plays. Which is why I think we saw the deep ball more than usual. When you're just trying to "Go fast, go hard" you run little dinky routes and hope guys stretch the plays with YAC or that the other defense is caught of guard. And of course BYU isn't loaded with guys that are going to kill you that way - it was a bad thing for BYU and I hope they never go back to trying for 100 plays/game or whatever. Mangum will shred defenses at the 70 pace. Not to mention, our defense looks like a standard BYU team - can't cover and the tackling looked iffy.....but they'll make plays/big stops every once in awhile. So you don't want them on the field so quickly after going fast nets you a :45 3 and out. Though they did blitz more and were missing 3 guys, so there's that.

I'm glad BYU won. They're playing UCLA, Michigan, and Utah State. I hope they win every game but those 3.

I think almost all of byu opponents on their schedule won this weekend. (I might be wrong though)
Off the top of my head.
Michigan-loss
Boise-win
Cincinnati-win
Ucla-win
Utah state-win
East Carolina-win
Connecticut-win
Fresno-win
San Jose-win
Missouri-win

(Nebraska-loss )

I really really hope that you guys upset Boise and then get trampled by UCLA.

And Ute fans claim that COUGAR fans are obnoxious. Sheesh.
They are mostly. Some more than others. They are starting to lose that better than thou attitude though. Being your rivals bitch and being green with envy will do that, I guess.

One last post, Nebraska at this point is far better than Michigan. Their qb is a good Div 1 QB. meanwhile, the QBs team up north played against would struggle just to start at Snow. You guys squeaked out a game at home against Adam Shultz.

Nice job team up north. You deserve a lollipop.

Or a gag ball.

This is cool and probly happens in every locker room of teams that have black players.

Crowd surfing and fist pumping like a maniac as the team yells "hip hip hooray" = ROFLcopter weirdest thing ever.

LOL.
