Yeah, but I want to know if he truly believes it, or if it's a pure troll.
It seems to me like this has been one of the stranger starts to college football, and opens the door for a lot of discussion concerning poll positioning. I don't put a lot of credence in the polls right now - there's a lot of football to be played, and things will change as the season progresses - but I am interested in different perspectives on who's strong and who is not.
LSU has the most dominant single player in college and the most dominant style (running game, not only Fournette, but solid backup RB's and a good running QB).
They have a great offensive line and a pretty good defense, not quite elite, but very good.
I also think Brandon Harris is a good QB, Miles just doesn't have the confidence in him yet and I think they are trying to build him up slowly (biggest reason their games have been so close, they are playing super safe). I think that will be the biggest progression for their team.
Sure Utah is a more balanced and more well rounded team at this point, but they don't have the high end upside IMO because I don't see any part of their team being as dominant as LSU's running game. Only way to really beat LSU is to get a big early lead and force them into passing situations, very hard to do given how long they eat possession by pounding the ball and wearing out a defense.
