I swear YOU snuck in an extra period somewhere.
I say the same thing to my wife sometimes...

Maybe it's just me, but Favors and Rudy didn't seem in it all that much. I know the refs were really calling BS fouls against them. But still, not much energy. However it was great to see Burks play well. Really impressed with his passing ability.
Lol, tbh I am surprised it took 4 preseason games for the doubt to start.
Jazz left Hawaii on Thursday. But they didn't go to Phoenix for that game. They went to Utah and then traveled to Phoenix on Friday before the game. Then back home for Mondays game.
Hawaii to SLC isn't a 1-2 hour time difference it is 4 hours. Then they were basically allowed no chance to rest before traveling again and playing another road game.
Jazz had several good open looks and the shots just were not falling.
Favors 2-11
Hayward 3-15
Burke 2-8
Ingles 3-8
Hood 3-12
Only Burks had a good night. When that many players can't make a shot that is fatigue. Jazz shot 31% FGs, 22.7% 3s and 68.3% FTs.
Jazz now have 6 days off to rest up and practice. They will look much better next game on Sunday the 18th.
preseason lol.
You are aware we where one of the worst shooting teams last year and we are returning practically all the same players, right? I think it's more of our players just aren't good shooters.
"Fatigue" for a home game on 2 days rest is lol.

So do you think that hayward, favors, burke, and hood shot at right about their season averages from last year during last nights game?I think it's more of our players just aren't good shooters.
Not a normal road trip. 4 hour time difference and they stayed an extra day sacrificing their rest.
And you are aware that Hayward, Favors and Hood all shot well above the %s in this game for season avgs. right?
You are aware that they had only 1 good nights sleep, not 2, and a 3 1/2 hour practice the day before right?
Not surprising that you have another horrible take on the situation.

You have to be joking.
Not really an "lol" fatigue is a legitimate reason for the poor shooting . Quin has given practice priority over games

Or do you maybe agree with stoked that almost all of our core players had an off night shooting?
I think they're probably just worn down from all the wear and tear of the season. It's a brutal stretch.
Or it was just an off night.Or they had an anomaly of a road trip (4 hour difference) and sacrificed sleep for an extra day in the sun. Then they flew to Utah instead of Phoenix (dumb). Then extra long practices.
Or it was just an off night.
Happens sometimes
I just watched on TV but it seemed the refs were calling a lot of questionable calls, especially against Rudy that effectively took him out of the game -- even when he was in the game, he had to play tentative because of that. Also, it seemed they had to foul Derrick three times before they called a foul. What's up with that?
I think it's most likely due to the reasons you mentioned. It was an off night for the whole team (except Burks). And why would that be?

Stoked didn't say we are a great shooting team or that shooting is not a weakness of the jazz.I think we are bad shooters who had a worse night than normal, but to act like it's just "fatigue" is ignoring an issue that was present all of last year and has not shown any signs of improving.

But it could have just been an off night for no reason.
I have seem them have off nights even when they never went to hawaii.
(I remember them getting beat by like 45 points to Houston a few years ago)
Ya and like I said, I think your theory is probably right (travel and long practices and fatigue having an effect)I'd be more inclined if it was 1 or two guys and not the team. But this is plausible.
