What's new

Ok this game will be fun ,Tuesday OKC vs Utah

Valuable learning lesson for the Jazz. I know it's preseason but down the stretch the Jazz were really good Thunder just were better. They got to see a championship level effort from Durant.

Basically, we looked good when Durant wasn't playing.

I'll admit I didn't watch this game but... what happened to Rudy? -27 in 32 minutes. Saw a tweet we scored .95 points per possesion on offense with him, 1.31 without. Gave up 1.32 points per on defense, .94 with him out.

That is something to be concerned about no? Even in a preseason game.

As one of Trey's biggest critics on this board I gotta say he impressed me tonight. A lot less ball stopping, much better passing, and very few bad shot attempts. If he can play this way on offense I don't mind him sticking around. I still think Exum is a far superior prospect and defensively Exum is 10X the player Burke is. But Burke was good tonight.
.
This was the 1st pre-season game I bothered to watch. So has he been better all preseason or was it a one game fluke?

Would have to be someone long like Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Or someone physical like Tony Allen, Jimmy Butler, Kahwi Leonard, and Lebron. It can be done, we just don't have anyone on the roster who is capable of really giving Durant problems. I guess it could have been an interesting test for Millsap, but Quin didnt try it.

Trey had a good game offensively. He has been better this pre season than I expected. Still not very good really but not horrible either

What didn't you like about Trey's game this preseason so far? His assist numbers are really low but he has moved the ball well.

Boler just said Durant and Westbrook are maybe the best 1, 2 combo in the league along Steph and Klay....

OKC is really good. Adams/Ibaka is solid defensively. KD/Westbrook are the best in the league offensively. Not sure what they're doing at the 2-guard, but maybe it doesn't matter much.

LOL Millsap? Give me a break he had no chance the way Durrant was playing. Millsap is not a better defender than Hayward.

Leonard would probably be the one name I'd think could. But when Durant is just pulling up like that not much anybody can do.

Our whole team's assist numbers are low. People have to realize there are just fundamental issues with the Jazz's offense because of lack of spacing that makes assist very hard to come by.

I meant he secured the starting position after Kanter's trade.

Anyway the Jazz played with less pressure after the All-star break because they were already out of the playoff race.

Your theory was that Gobert sucks because Kanter is gone so he's no longer motivated. He dominated last year when Kanter was gone. And now you're bringing up LESS pressure as the reason he dominated?

... Yeah, I'm sure the pressure of preseason is getting to him. That must be it.
