Then just recently he was let go by the spurs. I think that is what you meant to say

Pretty sure he was bought out by the Kings, which is more akin to being cut than traded.
 
The fact that anyone thought Jimmer would do well with the Spurs is laughable.

Ball-movement and selflessness are about as far away from Jimmer's game as you can get.

Sorry I should've made my statement more homerish to be clear that while personally I would love to have either on the team that I understand for a myriod of reasons it can't or wont happen.

One of these days Jimmer is going to find a team where he can score five points a game. Now this might be the Shanghai Sharks but so be it. He will still probably make about a million a year.

BYU turned their offense over to him. Problem is he's not Lebron James and you can't turn your offense over to him at the NBA level. If he didn't adjust to the league that is all on him. He could easily have had a career similar to JJ Reddick if he had learned to play the NBA game like Reddick did. As it is he'll be in Europe for the remainder of his career.
 
I was a huge Jimmer fan during all of the hype and I thought he was going to be a good NBA player. I figured he would develop into a team first guy and would stop at least being a defensive liability. I was wrong. I do wish him the best, but I concur with others in that he needs to play on some scrub team overseas so he can be the star of the team and not have to play defense. That's the only thing apparently his ego will allow.
