What's new

*** Utah Jazz @ Detroit Pistons Wednesday October 28th 5:30 MT Official Game Thread***

I see what the issue is. The Jazz go smaller in the frontcourt to create space, then they don't defend and rebound as well. They go big, and they don't move the ball as well. This is going to be a balancing act.

yup. They key is knowing what makes us more elite-- our defense. That's why we just gotta hope that Fav keeps expanding his range, and play small every now and then. Rudy and Favors are both too good on D to not have them on the floor together IMO.

I like the length and versatility we have at the wings. Hood, Hayward and Ingles can all initiate and a couple can get on top of the rim.

Dude, Pistons are a good defensive team. I think Quin just wants to get the offense going. He also wants to put their stretch 4's guarding on the perimeter, cuz while they can shoot, they aren't the most mobile stretch 4's.

like minds. All plus-defenders too.

Neto needs to keep growing, and Burke needs to at least give us 80% of preseason-Burke.

i'm talking about the season in general.

I think the Jazz would be playing Gobert and Favors together and just jamming the ball down the Pistons throat, but the Pistons are making a concerted effort to go small and pull our PF out on the floor.

Points in the paint, we're winning that battle 22-8, only 4 IT's so far which is a huge improvement over last year.
