2015-2016 NBA Thread

Blake Griffin having an insane year though. Easily the best PF in the game right now.

Not even close, dude has an almost automatic jump shot nowadays on top of that he can run the fast break with Jordan....big men aren't supposed to do that.

Clippers got jobbed by the refs in the loss to the Rockets. That will be one of the worst non-calls on a goaltending all season.

Karl-Anthony Towns: 3rd player in last 30 seasons w/ 75 pts, 40 reb, 15 blocks w/i first 5 career games. Previous 2: Shaq, David Robinson

@TommyBeer
Porzingis is just the 3rd player this decade with at least 70 points & 50 rebs in their first 6 career games (Blake Griffin, Anthony Davis).

Overall the NW is looking good.

Jazz 4-2
Blazers 4-2
Wolves 3-2
Thunder 3-3
Nuggets 2-4

Wolves may be making a jump faster than everyone thought. Blazers may not be the dumpster fire people though. But LOL at that Thudner D being much worse with Kanter. Even with them healthy.

That Wiggins/Towns combo is going to be deadly for years and years. We're going to need Exum to live up to the hype in order to compete with them.

D'Angelo Russell has been pretty unimpressive in the NBA so far.
Yep.
I thought he would be rookie of the year.
So far, not even close

Reggie Jackson aka Bobby Shmurda went ballistic in the 4th vs Dame DOLLA

Also crazy Thunder traded Harden who turns into a MVP candidate and now Jackson who is turning into a top 10 PG. I know their hands where pretty much forced with Jackson, but still, they give away talent for pennies on the dollar.

Yeah, in the long run, they got next to nothing for Harden. Kevin Martin is gone, Perry Jones sucks (also gone), Jeremy Lamb is mediocre at best.

It's exciting to see a reemergence of the center position. Gobert, Drummond, Whiteside, Towns... don't think we've seen a crop of talented young centers like this in quite some time. Imagine if Embiid ever gets healthy.

I think the demise of Embiid has been severely overstated, he's supposed to be ahead of schedule now. I detect mudslinging more than actual substance to be concerned about with him long-term. He's certainly damn talented though, I'd say more talented than Bynum.

The 2018 draft figures to be loaded with legit 7-footers, and there's definitely a few good ones in the next 2 drafts -- I'm kinda hoping the Jazz use a 1st rounder to stash one(Jonathan Jeanne)
