lol
You are the shame of Jazzfanz. Everyone knows this true and you don't even like JAZZ!Hayward has Kirilenko's weaknesses...inconsistent, mentally weak and poor leadership.
Keep in mind, Akirac is arguably the biggest Hayward basher in Jazzfanz history.
People actually keep track of this kind of ****e?
I'm certain that Burks and hood (both very good scorers) would still be able to score without Hayward out there to hold their hand.
I wonder if there were thunder fans that said that harden was only a good scorer because defenses were focusing on durant and Westbrook.
So you think when Hayward is on the bench resting or missing the game with an injury that the other team is still focusing on stopping him? I find that hard to believe.
Yes. I have every poster's hate-rank for every Jazz player in spreadsheet. You're 87th biggest hater of Hayward on the site, if you're wondering.
Gonna go ahead and not train akirac73;1148445 posts for a while. Anyone else is welcome aboard. I'm sick of the same **** every season. Hayward adds something to his game, takes a bit to adjust and starts playing well in January and still manages to get 19, 5 and 4. Yet here is this idiot trolling everyone decrying the downfall of Gordon.
The team still sucks outside of the top 4. Hood and Burke have been passable, but they aren't great. You want to have a good chance of beating the jazz? Throw your best defender and double on Hayward. It's pretty much the entire offense, and only derrick and Alec have been able to score. Derrick has been awesome, and Alec still doesn't really understand team ball, but is getting better. It's going to take a legitimate spot up shooter to play to derrick and Gordons strengths. Hood is a guy who shoots a lot off the dribble. Not a spot up guy. We basically need a young Kyle Korver on this team to really move the offense along.
But I mean come on bro. It's like 10% of the season already like David Locke said in his famous guest appearance on the morning show with DJ and PKM the other day. 10% bro. That's like 1/10th of the season almost. How much longer are you gonna make excuse for Hayward's slow starts every season while a guy named Rodney Hood withers away on the bench?
You said Hayward drawing so much attention is the reason that hood and Burks can have games like last night.I will appreciate it if you don't put words in my mouth. Saying that teams aren't game-planning specifically to stop Hood or Burks is not the same thing as saying that Hood and Burks can't score when Hayward isn't on the court. I said the former. Not the latter.

I disagree.
I think that without Hayward they still could have games like last night

Hayward makes it easier for them on offense because of the attention he draws. Can't deny that.

He's definitely struggling, definitely needs to play better. People calling him AK 2.0 are idiots.

The most obvious answer is start Trey Burke so Hayward has another shooter to space the floor or make a play.
Raul Neto is seriously trash. It's like watching a Dante Exum who is just an average defender and small.
Burks, Hood, and Favors all took more shots than him tonight. And in the former two's case, Hayward was drawing a lot of defensive attention away from them.
Burks and Hood don't have the games they do if they receive the same attention from the defense that Hayward did.
