Arizona pastor blames sinful nation of France for attacks.

Another clueless imbecile who thinks he's qualified to speak for God. So many people feel they know what God approves of, what God doesn't approve of. Must be nice to have such a direct pipeline, and feel qualified to judge other human beings. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that puts him in the same camp as the terrorists themselves. They too feel qualified to judge their fellow humans.
Guess in this instance Allah and Yahweh were on the same page.

The perpetrator's religion doesn't seem particularly relevant in either of those cases. I wonder why it's mentioned in the headline.

By the same token, neither of those cases seem particularly relevant to this discussion. I wonder why you're bringing them up.

Good points, Joe! The fact remains that in ALL religions you are going to have some who do bad things, some of them seriously bad! But the question is how does the religious organization to which he or she is a member HANDLE the wrong doer? Do they look the other way? Do they report the incident (in the case of child abuse/molestation) to the proper authorities or do they try and cover it up? The goal is first and foremost to protect the innocent victim or victims! And when a few individuals (emphasis on "few") do go bad can the WHOLE religion be classified or "judge" as wicked or "false?" Here is what you can and should go by:

(Matthew 7:15-20) 15 “Be on the watch for the false prophets who come to you in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits you will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise, every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits you will recognize those men.
