Game #13 Oklahoma City Thunder at Utah Jazz Monday 23 Nov 2015 @ 7:00pm Mtn (Early bird GT)

Jazz's talent isn't all that great if we're to be perfectly honest. Our PG rotation has to be one of the worst in the league, and our wings are streaky at best. Our bigs really struggle to score and aren't great passers. Our bench features Joe Ingles and Trevor Booker. There aren't that many teams that don't have a talent advantage over us, tbh.

When we match intensity we can be really good. That is sporadic though and we seem to be down by double figures in nearly every game.

Jazz need an Alpha scorer. As much as I love Dante, they should have just tanked their asses off and gone all in for Wiggins. He, at least, has that potential.

Offense is whatever.

I think I'm more disappointed in the several steps backwards the defense has taken this season.

Maybe the jazz can trade for a real point guard. Neto and Burke are just terrible.

Some upgrades need to be made. We suck against our top competition at home. Jingles, Booker, and Sap need to be upgraded.
At least two out of 3.

Sap is end of the bench kind of guy, and is thus irrelevant. I agree about Booker. We need a good third big badly.

Sap never plays so it's hard to really say we need to upgrade him. Ingles is what we need to upgrade. Good god he is a terrible defender. It looked like he was about to call Life Alert when he fell down. He should be our 5th wing, not our 4th. I wonder if he would stay in the NBA if it meant not playing at all though.

Booker also of course.

I went to the game tonight unfortunately, I brought a friend who isn't much of an NBA fan. After tonight's performance I think he's going to stay that way, this one was a hard one to swallow. I'm starting to wonder if Favors and Gobert can really coexist in this era of the NBA. Our bench needs a severe overhaul as well.

This. With the league going small, a big who gives you practically nothing on O isn't going to be a game changer.

Man that was brutal. Not much you can do when nobody but Hayward decides they want to put the ball in the basket.

And not that officiating cost the Jazz the game, but man they were terrible.

Burke and Burks shot horribly. That with the sub par night from Hood, and others = loss.

We dont seem to match up well at all to OKC. This is troubling as they are in our division.
There is no excuse to be blown out on your home floor.

Burks is shooting 33% for the last 5 games and 22% from deep.

The scary thought is, what if Burke returns back to shooting how he usually shoots from the last 2 years? How bad is our offense going to be then?

I love Rudy, but let's try to get Simmons out of him. Exum and Ingles will draw him here.

I would hate to give up on Rudy. Dude just needs to brush off his national team for an off-season and really work on catching the basketball and finishing strong. Whenever he jumps to go finish, it seems like he never has his body under him and he just flails towards the rim.
