Don't know why it matters to you. BYU will lose to any of the schools that end up in Vegas. Just count your blessings that San Jose State doesn't get a 2nd crack at you guys.

That doesn't make sense. If they are going to lose anyway, we might as well lose to and watch a fun opponent rather than a boring one we've played 100 times that has been garbage the last month of the season.

Actually, I agree with your reasoning. It probably wouldn't be any fun for your bowl loss to also be your 5th in a row and 10th outta 13th to Utah.

Vegas is 5th or 6th. I think it changes from year to year. Like they get the 5th team one year and the 6th team the next. Or it might be they get the 6th team if a pac-12 school makes the playoff and 5th if they don't. Either way Utah should not be available for them to pick but might be.

I talk a lot of **** most of the year. But I generally avoid the week of the game. It's just not any fun that week. Too many people take it way too serious/ too far that week.

I really don't want this game to happen. But am resigned to the fact it probably will.

a seventh rounder? Sure. Their punter almost cost them the Patriots game. He had like 3 <40 yard punts in the 1st half, In mile high stadium where you should be kicking it farther. And they were kicking out of his own damn red zone. 2 of them didn't pass the 50 yard line and the other one barely did.

I was at a party last night full of big time season ticket holding u of u graduate ute fans and the consensus seemed to be that he wouldn't even play in the nfl because no one does rugby style punting in the nfl.

I think he is so good at it that someone will take him and start a new thing on the nfl (rugby style punting)

Hard to imagine an NFL team would pass him up for this reason. Punting style is completely irrelevant. All that matters is the result.

Hey I agree. I kept saying that he is simply too good to not play on Sundays. The hardcore ute fans were skeptical of that

he doesn't always rugby style though. His punts where he stays in the "pocket" Holds the ball and boots the **** out of it are just as impressive as the Bootleg style punts. I'm not sure if they will or not but they absolutely should. He's far better than the Broncos kicker. How that guy still has a job punting in the NFL is baffling.

Good to hear. Imo he should be guaranteed to find a spot in the nfl

I laugh half the time he stays in. Because they expect him to move out he has time to flip the ball reposition it and allow coverage to get farther downfield when he kicks it. In the NFL that probably doesn't work but it's great for coverage in college.
