What's new

2015-2016 NBA Thread

I have a weird feeling that GS will finally lose tonight. And then Simmons will never stop gloating about how they were the team to end the streak.

He's put together two really nice games since he was benched. He has been hot from three as well. Seems to me he lacks an explosive first step and overall quickness but he does make up for it in length and that quick release on three.

That three kinda reminds me how Curry shoots it... and remember it took Curry a while to put it all together too.

Only a fool would doubt D'Angelo Russell at this point. Getting drafted infront of Jahlil Okafor means you're a made man, that flew over too many peoples heads - I'm still surprised about the aftermath, and it's public perception.

Many a Laker fan has hated on him too, unjustly. They mostly either wanted Okafor, or think Clarksons better, or both. They kill him for his athleticism (but mostly didn't realize he led OSU in rebounding).

I've been arguing across the internets in his defense for several months now, and he's gonna prove plenty of it true.

Been comparing him to some sort of Steph and Harden fusion for some time, and posters get all sorts of defensive about that ****. He looks good. I wholeheartedly believe the Lakers have him on the bench and have been limiting his minutes, because their tanking.

Well he has started the last couple of games in place of Jordan Clarkson... also I'm not entirely sure the 2016 draft class is worth tanking for, tbh... don't really see a franchise changing player.

Thats what they said about Steph Curry though.. Right? Thats whats in DX's scouting report on Steph. Warrior fans liked Monta better.

Crazy that the Bucks have such a successful tradition of streak busting. They've now ended six 12+ game winning streaks in their history. The previous five teams they stopped went on to win the NBA Championship.

71-72: ended Lakers' 33 game winning streak. The Lakers won the championship that season.
73-74: ended Celtics' 12 game winning streak. The Celtics won the championship that season.
82-83: ended 76ers' 14 game winning streak. The 76ers won the championship that season.
06-07: ended Spurs' 13 game winning streak. The Spurs won the championship that season.
10-11: ended Mavericks' 12 game winning streak. The Mavs won the championship that season.
15-16: ended the Warriors' 28 game winning streak (24 this season)...
