yep. colleges are producing a new crop of believers in a better world every year. Young idealists with no understanding of what is actually going on in real life. Conspiracy? Probably not. Just stupid college grads with a cheap, easy, meaningless brand of rhetoric.
A "Queen" today can have power that runs outside of official government or diplomatic channels. Influence goes with stuff like prestige,status, money, or key contacts in influential organizations.
QEII is an amazing person, way above average even for elites, in actually being able to get stuff done.
You could be conservatives proud of your Queen, but instead you're pawns in a rhetorical theatre game with almost no one caring what you say.
