Cleanthony Early Of The Knicks Robbed

Damn, rough day

I doubt the reports are true, guns are illegal in New York, so they couldn't have used one in the attack.

He probably tripped on some luggage and stabbed himself with a steak knife.

Does anyone here think that hanging out at a strip club covered in gold is an intelligent thing to do? I wonder if he smears blood on himself before going swimming in shark infested waters, because that seems equally sane to me.

Kind of like putting the stickers of your car stereo components in your window. They're called "steal me" stickers for a reason.

That reminds me.....There weren't stickers on my car, but I was bumping my radio really loud one night when I was a jackass 18 year old in South Provo and got boxed in by some vatos looking to snag my system, and one of them popped his head in my car, looked at the stereo, and was so pissed that it was just the stock system on the crappy car I was driving around....kicked my car......and they just took off like nothing happened. Pretty sure they were infamous Provo car audio dealer Rip Off Ralph's guys. That's one of many nefarious ways that muppet would get inventory for his shop.

Maspeth NY has two interstates intersecting right in the middle of town - it's probably a great place to do drive-by robberies like this and have multiple directions to make your getaway. The disturbing part of the story is the club he was at was pretty low brow - if I was a young millionaire and into that stuff you wouldn't catch me dead at that place. As someone said inferred earlier he might as well had a sign around his neck that said "please rob me". In 20 minutes he could have gone across the river to Manhattan and go to some of the hottest clubs in the world.

Makes me worry Cleanthony might have been doing some shady stuff himself.

Not sure how much of a millionaire the kid is. He's making 845K this year. After taxes, his agent(s), lawyer(s), the obligatory charitable crap these guys are pretty much expected to do lest they want to be demonized for being selfish little ****s for not caring to cure society's ills, and helping out family member(s) which most seem to do (heck, I didn't even mention pissing away money on an entourage), going to a place like Scores on the regular shouldn't really be in the cards. Unless he wants to end up just another poster boy for bankrupt ex-professional athletes.

Not to mention he lives in New York.
