What's new

So the Jazz are playing the Blazers right now... 2nd quarter starting

The 9th and 10th pick in that draft put up a lot of points last night.

So? 1 game means nothing when determining the value of players and the overall strength of a draft.

Not defending or attacking that draft. Just stating that your post is pretty meaningless by itself.

You consider Ricky Rubio a "lesser defender"? I think he's one of the better on ball defenders in the league especially at his position.

+1, Rubio is dang good defensively. This season I think Bledsoe is the only PG as good as him (among starters at least)

It means something. McCollum is having a great year, and last night was an example of that.

You didn't reference his performance this year or even any other games this year. Just said that the 10th pick scored well last night. So the point stands. You simply made a very weak attempt at rebuttal.

We can go back to ignoring each other now.

I'm not sorry that I pointed out that you did a terrible job trying to make a point Cy. Neg me all you want, you deserved the critique. Kick rocks.

Not hiding. Not really hating either. Trey can do a few things against lesser defenders in the league. That's about the best he's looked. Still, you hope for more than a backup with the 9th pick. That draft as a whole wasn't very strong.

Where he was picked, and his expectations there is another argument altogether. I am specifically calling out the people that said he was complete trash, and not an NBA player, we should trade etc. Do I want more out of Trey? Absolutely. I just believed he was a good player and a valuable asset. I wasnt ready to throw him under the bus when a lot of you were.

More like all of you. Me and you were the last people who held out hope for his improvement.

I was absolutely one that was doubting him. I have come around but I was a doubter and wanted a trade.
