What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Don't really know if I like The Lobster. Has anyone seen it? It's %91 on RT.

I just watched Legend tonight.
I liked it quite a bit. I like violent mafia type movies though

OK, just got back from seeing The Revenant. This has to be one of the best movies I've seen this year + last year combined. Loved the setting, the story, the acting was very good, but the cinematography was something out of this world, it was simply AWESOME.

Really, I wouldn't be surprised if it receives multiple Oscars nominations...

Really love the theme of good vs evil, God and salvation as well, it's not just the spectacular scenes that makes this movie, it really makes you think hard and think back about the different characters and what the director is trying to say. Reminds me a bit of Deliverance which is another favourite film of mine.

An instant classic IMO.

Homeland season 3 was so so, season 4 was GREAT.
I just started watching homeland (I'm on about episode 8 of season one) and I am loving it.

I have a question for you though? Does season two (and the following seasons) continue the story of season one.... How the woman is trying to catch the pow marine being a traitor? Or does each season kind of have its own separate storyline?

I watched season 1 of broadchurch. I hated it. Allot

Seasons 1 and 2 were great because it focusses on Brody and Carey. Season 3 started to deviate a bit from that story which I personally didn't think work at all. Season 4 moved on a different tangent all together and I was sceptical at first but I came around to appreciating it for what it is.

Enjoy seasons 1 and 2 though, they're probably as good as it's ever going to get IMO.

Ok that's interesting.. I LOVED season 1 of broadchurch but didn't care for season 2 at all... I felt they gave away who the perpetrator was too easily, they really should have kept the suspense going for 1 or even 2 more seasons. There is enough there to stretch it out, they've already build all the characters, set all the scenes, etc.

So yeah.. if you hated season 1, I wouldn't even bother with season 2, tbh.... it's a bit of a dog's breakfast.

Thanks bro.
Good answer

I want to see it. I've heard Farrell's great in it.

I usually hate Farrell's acting but I liked this one, I think it's his second best job. There is just this weirdness about the acting in this film I am not really used to, I mean it is necessary to set the tone and it accomplishes it perfectly. Go see it, I think it is a must see even if I am not sure I liked it.

WTF. Why?
I hated how they tried to make it seem like everyone was the killer.
Dannys dad, the dads co-worker, the lesbian looking older lady, the really old man at the newspaper store, the priest, dannys friend, and probably a handful more that I'm forgetting.... basically everyone except the actual killer.

I hated how the suspects would withhold information or try to avoid talking to the police for no good reason.

Way too many red herrings.

I thought the lead detective guy was pretty cool though.

But ya, I was happy when it was finally over

Did you ever watch The Killing?

Did you ever watch The Killing?
No
I just looked it up though and looks pretty good.
I still have a long ways to go on homeland though and then I think I might give hannibal a try.

Maybe I will try The Killing after that

Are you employed, sir?
Lol

I watch these shows on the app I told you about on my phone. So on each break at work and during lunch I watch, when I take a crap I watch, anytime I'm somewhere that I have to wait (dr, oil change, etc) I watch.

Usually watch 1 or 2 episodes a day
