We're in 8th place. Have we done that without a top 25 player? If only we had Kobe. According to the All Star voters he's the best.
Enes Kanter has more votes than Favors and Hayward combined.
We have a losing record, let's not act like we have anything to be proud of being in 8th.
There are so many other things to cry about besides Kobe. Jeremy Lin has more votes than Reggie Jackson for one.
Kobe is a top 10-20 player of all time, of course he is going to get voted in. It's a (deserved) Lifetime Achievement Award and I would vote for him too.

The All Stars have to come from some team. A bunch of them are coming from teams who have less to be proud of about their record than we do.
