"Surprised if Teague Doesn't End Up in Utah"

I think Burks is undervalued... not sure he much worse of a player than Teague. Burks fill needs for us I just think Teague fills a bigger need and does it in a way that might benefit others more.

This

As much as I love alec, I probably trade him for Teague and then worry that I made a mistake

Hood is... I don't think Hayward is bad either, but sometimes struggles to get separation. I feel like Hood can almost always get a clean but contested look at a three, a pull up, or that running hook thing he does.

I really think Hood needs to be our crunch time creator or at least call a play where he or Gordon can get open and create... not sure why we force feed Gordon sometimes... I'm not sure he's the type that even wants that.
Hood is amazing at getting a quality look at anytime, anywhere on the court. It's uncanny and innate

Is the guy in the report credible at all... never heard of him... also his tie is backwards and based on his office hutch he either has 45 kids or is a child molester.
Lol.

Glad to see bohdi liked this post and is still around. Post some **** bohdi!

So we give up Burks who's on a great contract for a 1 year Teague rental?
This is the one thing that might make me say no to the trade. The contracts of each guy

Yup.
Hayward fetches much more than that

Damn right he does.

I can't believe he'd think that would be a fair trade.

This is exactly why I don't put a lot of stock into whatever these so called experts say. I'd much rather just take the pulse of a fan base to get an understanding of a player, or go look for myslef. I bet Simmons doesn't even watch many Jazz games, or many games of really hardly any teams. How could he? It would be hard as hell to watch every game. Nevertheless though, he should understand Haywards worth vs a breaking down Teague. Same thing with Burke and Korver. smh

Bill Simmons doesnt claim to be an expert.

Bill Simmons doesnt claim to be an expert.

I do feel like he used to be better though... Feels like he isn't really paying as much attention. I still generally enjoy his stuff.

I don't think anyone in sports journalism does. It would be odd for someone to claim to be an expert. But if you work for the big companies and you are famous, I think it's assumed you are an expert. That's why people read what you write. Otherwise, why not just read some random person's stuff on a message board, like how DJ Jazzy Jody was reading my stuff.

I think Teague is better than Schroder right now, but not by much. Teague is a better defender though. I would take either over Burke, but not sure if it is worth getting Teague for a short while at the cost of giving up other major assets until we know what we have with Exum. If I could get Schroder for Burke and Burks I would do it though.

What I want to know is if Schroder's cat named Dinger is alive or dead in the box he is in.

I thought he was semi-serious about that trade idea, but I guess he's REALLY serious... here's more details...

Hayward to Atl, Teague to Utah, Korver to Cle (trade exception). Utah would cut 7.5m and be 15 mill under cap for a 2nd move. I like it!

I just threw up in my mouth...

I think he was partially serious on his first one and is now just trolling for a reaction.

Teague can shoot way better than Schroeder, which is one of the main things the Jazz need from a PG.

This is the same guy that said Favors was nothing more then a scrub bench player
Who said favors is nothing more than a bench scrub? Jody?

iirc Jody was the one talking about trading favors for the #4 pick in last years draft (ended up being porzingas). A bench scrub would never get us the #4 pick.

Teague only makes sense if it's cheap like Burke + a pick. No way they should give Burks for a 1 year rental (they'll never do it anyway). Plus, Teague's stats are down and he doesn't defend that well.

The team already has its PG, it's Exum. I don't think a trade will happen, unless Atlanta is okay with Burke + pick or Burke + filler. Burke + Booker would be okay too.
