Go GET Teague

I'm skeptical in involving Burks in the trade mainly because he improved his three-point shooting....but it seems he is injury prone so it would be a tough decision.

Correctly guessing what player on your team will be traded can happen. It's a 1/15 chance. Correctly guessing what player they will be traded for is much harder.

Thanks for the information. I've been looking for ways to maximize my guessing stats. You also suggested a negative correlation between number of pages in a thread, and the likelihood of landing a player. I'd be interested in seeing your stats on that as well.

Give me a few days, I'm still collecting the data. I'm doing some mining on Clutchfanz, pray for me.

At what? Being logical? Or do you live in a fairy tale world where the FO tells the beat writers exactly what is happening behind the scenes involving their discussions (or lack of) with other teams?

STRIKE TWO!!!!!!

COmeone one more swing. Take your time and think about it first. Make it worth it.

I'm not 100% sure I'd trade Alec for him. I'd start with Burke + 2016 pick swap + OKC pick (it feels like this will turn into 2nd rounders). If I was Atlanta I'd want more... don't see where they will get a lot though.

This is where I'd start as well. I'd be a bit surprised if that got it done though.

So you are still stuck on this and can't take a post for what it is? You have to respond like a child when I question you?

Do you think the FO is 100% truthful with their beat writers when they ask questions? Does Tony Jones have a truth serum he injects into DL before he ask questions?

I'd rather keep those picks than Burks. We still don't know if OKC can even retain Durant/Westbrook when that pick is due up.

Which with the protections on that pick will turn it into two second rounders... I would much rather move that than Burks, but your feelings on Burks are well known (you ain't a hater, but you aren't a fan).

In my opinion you do not deserve a serious answer or discussion. You should not be lecturing anyone on anything. Ever.

You are simply incapable, or unwilling, to view my post which you latched on to in any light other than serious.

Kudos you struck out. At least you live up to expectations.

In these 24 pages has anyone answered this question that I posted on the 1st??

who was the last player "out indefinitely" that was traded in the NBA ??

In what world does the 4th team in the east trade a starting PG for a SG that's out indefinitely??? seems like fantasy to me.

There's going to be very good PG's in the 2nd round of most of these next few drafts, which means there will be chances to get GOOD pg's with late first round picks. Teague is good and I think he'd lead them to the playoffs, he's not worth some sort of Deron Williams package,

I thought Burks was projected to return at All-Star break?

Never seen anyone so hostile before in my life.

I'd much rather give Exum as many opportunities as possible next year and see what he's becoming.
This is reason #1 I don't want a trade

No just speculation that he could return then, but as far as I'm aware it's never been stated as fact. I don't think an official time has been given.

I don't think that matters much. It's still about the level of talent of the player in question.

If we had a chance to get Durant, but he was out indefinitely, would we not do it because he's out indefinitely?

How talented the player is matters a lot. The less talented, the more the injury matters. In Burks case it matters some though.

Simmons if nothing else is amusing. First he throws out some ridiculous trades for Hayward, gets blasted for it, and wonders why Utah fans are so high on Hayward.

His true intentions have been revealed. Lol

I say we get rid of Burks. For whatever reason, Hood sucks when Burks is also playing. He was great last season with Burks out, started sucking this season when Burks was back, and then immediately started playing well when Burks got injured again.

I don't think Burks is a cancer like Kanter, and he's a decent player. But he just doesn't add any value to our team and his interaction effect (making Hood suck) actually doesn't bode well for us in the long term.
