What a great idea Gilbert. Everybody knows there are no surveillance cameras in strip clubs, especially around places where money is being exchanged. And when a loss like this occurs both Amex and the club almost certainly go, "Oh well, our loss," (which is the same way law enforcement is sure to react as well) so I can't imagine a single reason that a scam like this wouldn't work perfectly and also be endlessly repeatable. The real question, though, is why didn't he get $80 million in ones? He should have called Amex and upped his limit beforehand.
Why would you ever admit to something like this? Some people just have to brag I guess....I'd rather get away with something like this and no one ever know than have everyone know about it and get hemmed up 5 years after the fact
