Wow not even close. The NBA is a joke. I can't even watch an NBA game that doesn't involve the Jazz. Too ****ing boring. Just watch the last 2 minutes it's all that matters in most NBA games. And if you turn it on and it's a blowout then it wasn't worth watching anyway.

Oh and any respect I had for Cam Newton, which was admittedly very little, is completely gone. What an ignorant, immature POS. **** you Cam show a little sportsmanship you whinny *** little bitch.

Reading around, it seems to be the consensus that this super bowl was not very good.

I like actual football btw. Just didn't like this particular game
 
At least I didn't see cam celebrating at all. I kept hearing about how cam celebrates every play even when his team is losing. Today I saw some big plays by cam but no celebrations after.

That is the new trend for the league. It's why they change all the rules to pander to offensive teams. To have a team that is that dominant in the NFL with the way the rules are now is super impressive. IMO that makes this the best defense of all time in the NFL. I may be a little biased though. :)

You saw some big plays by Cam? I saw a couple of runs, I saw a desperate heave where he was bailed out by the receiver. And I saw him on his ***, a lot. Tough to celebrate when you are getting beat up like that, and when even your decent plays are sporadic and not really your own doing.

In the third quarter alone he had two passes for over 40 yards and like you said he had some nice runs (ran for more yards than he averages)

I didn't see him celebrate any of those plays but I hear that he celebrates every big play even win his team is getting killed
 
This was a grind it out win for our mountain region cousins. Hat's off to Peyton Manning and his 56.6 QB Rating, 1 INT, and 5 sack night. He was clearly superior to Cam Newton and his 55.4 QB Rating, 1 INT, and 6 sack night.

Denver now needs to keep this exact D.

I feel like they can kind of plug in anyone in talibs place and that defense will still be fantastic.

And I think talib is great btw... Just feel like there is enough talent on Denver's defense that they can lose him and be just fine defensively

I lost respect for him when he didn't go after HIS own fumble. How do the guys that do the dirty work for him so he can get all the publicity look at him going forward? He'll say that he'll do anything to win, but he just proved he won't in the biggest game.

This defense is not going to stay together. I'd love for it too but they just don't have enough money to do that. Miller, Trevathan, and Malik Jackson are all free agents. Ware Costs a lot of money next year and is likely to be released. Brock is going to get paid, and so are a few others. I just can't see all of those guys taking pay cuts to stay in Denver. I'd be excited if all this defense lost was Ware or Talib, But I'm afraid they are going to lose more than that.

Any FA QB's worth having will cost almost as much or more than Manning did this last year, Including Brock.
