I don't like it either but if, and that's a big if, he played like he did a few years ago then that would be a HUGE addition

If the Jazz are simply looking to swap Burke + filler for Lawson, this is likely happening.
 
I can't believe how excited people are over a rumor that the Jazz could trade Burke for a player significantly worse than Burke, who has publicly stated his disdain for Utah, and who will also require that we give up another player to make the salaries work. Not to mention Houston's doesn't own any 2016 first rounders to trade, so I'm not sure why that's being thrown around as a potential sweetener either.

The Jazz aren't stupid - this trade isn't going to happen.

We have a great lockerroom culture so why not take a risk acquiring 1 bad apple. The group could turn him for the better. Its not like Houston was a good culture fit with him since there are notorious party players on Houston also.

Significantly worse? He's only worse this year. There is no reason he magically became such a **** player, when only a few months ago, he was a beast.

Lol he was putting up 15.2/9.6 just last season. This is a great buy low situation that the Jazz can cash in on.

Yes. In a heartbeat. That gives us another pick and a guy in Lawson who, if Quin is as good as we think he is, could add a dimension to this team we sorely lack and if he does turn it around and becomes expendable because Exum develops, could be parlayed into even more picks.

Our core is tight enough to shut his nonsense out and yet welcome him with open arms imo. For that reason and Utahr's lack of nightlife AND him bein traded once again, this could be enough to truly wake Ty up.

But I push for Pleiss instead of Booker.

It's weird this got out but I actually think it's more likely to happen now that it's leaked. Both teams are tight and if they didn't want it out there then I don't think it'd be out there.
