Trade Deadline

So it seems like the Jazz had a couple good trade partners lined up but things didn't end up working out. You think the Jazz are trying to be a little stingy or do you think they're just not willing to take the short end of the stick because other teams are asking for way too much?
 
I don't like this trade that much, i think top 8 protected is a lot for detroit to give up (even if they pick will probably be 13-14 at best)
 
So what do people think of the new Houston and Memphis teams? Any problem for the Jazz in the playoff run?
 
I'll be supremely disappointed if we end up getting Mack for Burke. Another top 10 pick dumped for nothing. Just the kind of **** trade one has come to expect from this organization.

Ugh. So Houston gets the 13th-14th pick? Solid move for them for a guy who's a UFA.
 
That detroit deal is very interseting for our prospects of landing Lawson. They gave up a very good prospect for very little...except a draft pick.

Yeah, if we trade we need to get a legit player in the trade. We need to be building for a playoff run. If that's not what the trade does then we should walk away,

Me too! DL bluff too much in the trades and he does not conclude anything! Very disappointing.

Mack could not help the Jazz in the playoff run.
 
I'm just not sure what trades are / were out there to be made with only Burke to offer. Like maybe if we included Burks. What u want DL to turn water into wine?

This. I'd much rather hold onto a bitchy, whiny Burke for the rest of the year.
 
I bet we could get Sam Dekker included in the Burke/Lawson deal. Not sure he'll amount to anything, but there's some potential there.
