What's new

jazz at +1.5 vs celtics tonight...

Bovada has Jazz at +1.5 vs the celtics tonight.. what??? isn't Jared Sullinger the center since Kelly Olynk is out? Jared is listed 6'9, how could he rebound against Gobert? I'm expecting Jazz to out-rebound the Celtics at least by 10 if not 20. I'm expecting a layup drills tonight against the celtics, I wouldn't be surprised if jazz wins by 15-20.

Jazz +1.5 seems way off. Free money tonight.
Good call.

I hope the next time that officiating crew refs they'll be atrocious. Because that would be a massive upgrade over whatever the **** they were tonight. That was really one of the worst officiated games I've ever seen, for both teams. The one late whistle on Hood in particular is unexcusable on a professional level.

Other than that a pretty good game for the Jazz. That first half shooting was great. The first half turnovers were not so great, but the limiting of them in the 3rd quarter when they pulled away was pretty nice to see. The FT shooting...yikes. It's amazing they won the game by 18 despite missing like 12 of them or something.

I feel like we were so close to being able to pick lillard in the draft.
I don't even know if that is true at all but that's how I feel.
Don't judge me

Jazz were never close to getting him. Portland wasn't going to trade with us there was too much bad blood between us. At least your not a Brooklyn fan because watching Lillard must be very painful to watch. Perhaps the same feeling Nuggets fans have when they watch Gobert play. Certain franchise continually suck because they get impatient. NJ traded away the pick that became Lillard and Favors to win now. Instant gratification can lead to years of losing. I think Lillard is underrated around the league but I am happy with our team and still believe that Exum is going to be real deal.

There were many of those moments with the phantom foul calls on both sides, but the worst call had to be the play whereThomas got fouled then threw up the half court shot and the ref actually called it a shooting foul, and it's not like the shot clock or game clock was winding down. That was one of the dumbest calls I've ever seen. I wanted to reach into my tv and strangle the hell out of that ref. Easily the worst call of the night.
Ingles' reaction...hysterical.

Lyles better step his game up. Ingles completely showed him up. Lol

Already said, but the refs were really, really bad. Seems to be a common theme this year. Seems to be a ton of new refs this year too.

I love coach Quin for stuff like this.....

David Locke quoted "One more thing. Great moment late in the game. Jazz were up 15 and Hayward was pushing with about 2:47 left. The right play might have been to pull it out and our court mic picked up Quin yelling at Gordon “Go show them what you got.” It is the essence of Quin’s coaching in one moment. He gives these guys such confidence and this is why they play hard every night."

I freaking love this. No mercy. Give no quarter. Keep the throttle up even when they're on the ropes. It's a mentality that can be hard to instill in a team, but it's one that would do this young Jazz team very well. Hopefully, it has an impact on Dante down the road. That's where it could have the biggest impact.

"Show them what you got" aka splitting free throws.
