What's new

Donald Trump

The only R I would vote for.

Even he is getting pulled to the right. He just mentioned that he wanted to defund Planned Parenthood. Maybe he had this stance for months, I'm not sure-- but I just saw it now.

If Rubio can pick up the bulk of Bush's supporters, as many pundits seem to think possible, Trump will suddenly have a real rival. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I myself am now in the "anyone but trump or cruz" camp for the Republicans.

Cruz is trash, I think I'd honestly choose Trump over him.

Rubio doesn't stand a chance. He simply doesn't. Trump will smash him in debates.

The nomination is Trump's, writing is on the wall. Dem could still go either way IMO. Bernie is gaining tons of ground.
Love me some bernie.

Can not believe that trump could win.
Dumbest thing ever

When mannerisms, charisma and acting is defining who becomes president you know there's a problem with the populace.

This is about principles folks, not about who looks more "Presidential". I hate that darn concept.

As for me I'll do the usual, if I don't like any of the candidates in the final run I might as well root for the most outrageous, empty headed candidate there is on the table, as it seems like the population needs another reality check. To me it's either the best or the worse, I'm done with 'beating around the bush presidents' that are delivering this country a slow death. The boiling frog effect.

Looks like you might really have your work cut out for you figuring out which one is the worst this election cycle.
1) A 75 year old socialist who wants to tax us into oblivion... but at least he's honest about it.
2) A screechy narcissist who has been chasing the presidency her entire life and who is likely to be under full-fledged federal investigation by the time ballots are cast (and who long ago would have been eliminated from contention if not for her last name).
3) An ultra-arrogant megalomaniac reality TV star with zero conscience or accountability when it comes to his word.

He's a really good memorizer. Too good.

Rubio lacks the knowledge to be Prez. It is the same reason why I did not vote for Obama. I am not a fan of any of the candidates to be honest. I think the problem is most people I would want to be the leader of this country have no desire to do so. I consider myself a centrist, and do not vote along any party lines. Right now, I see Sanders as the best choice in a poor group. I would pick Romney over all of them, and I say that as a non-Mormon.

I like Trump's fiscal policy, but not much else. I think he would be a disaster as the face of our country.

The reason that Ted Cruz lost the Evangelicals in S.C. is because he is a world class LIAR, and Evangelicals do not like liars!

*facepalm*

I am in Las Vegas, at the best hotel (by far), Trump International. I will be working with my wonderful teams and volunteers to WIN Nevada!

Yes Trump, we know you're rich...and you own a GREAT hotel, hopefully I can afford to stay there 1 day.

Seriously, is he the only man on earth who could pull this type of stuff off?!?!

I often wonder about this. This idea is taken as a near article of faith by right wing media. It's stated as if it's inevitable. Near as I can tell, this has been an "any minute now" scenario for nearly two years according to the folks who believe it's going to happen.

What are the odds that this is a real threat? Is there a grand jury empaneled somewhere?

I doubt it is a realistic threat to her. Question is should it be? I think it is one more example of why not to trust her.

“How did I get elected?” Kasich said. “I didn’t have anybody for me. We just got an army of people, and many women who left their kitchens to go out and to go door to door to put up yard signs for me.”

A moderate Republican is basically like when you have a mild heart attack. Or when you smoke light cigarettes.

Yep, pick your poison. I put Hilary as the worst choice hands down, because she represents extending the 'status quo' like no other candidate. But I just can't vote for that snake. She's so full of it. Just listening to her voice makes me cringe and I hope all her evil doing haunts her subconscious forever.

Any of the other 2 sound willing to make some major changes at least, for the better or the worst. If for the better then good on all of us, if for the worst it might open people's eyes to this false reality we call democracy and maybe we all learn a few lessons. A bit melodramatic? Maybe. Accurate? Maybe. It's politics after all.
