Best shows on TV?

Suits is good and has definitely picked up in intensity, but I feel like it's gotten a little soap opera-ish. I still watch though.

Isn't it?! I still don't know where the show goes from here once the trial is over... seems like Mike is dead set on not coming back to the firm? I wonder if there will be a 6th season?

Yeah, I have wondered where they are going to go from here. I guess we'll keep watching and see if they surprise us.

Anyone want to admit to watching Mercy Street on PBS?

They were kind of touting it as the next "Downton Abbey" and yeah, not even close!

Never even heard of it

Sounds like a medical drama. I hate those.

I have dumped cable/satellite, and I couldn't be happier. Chromecast is great. I pay about 25 bucks a month for hulu/Netflix. I also broke down and bought league pass. I'll never pay another cable bill again.

I think we're going down this path in June/July ourselves.

I don't watch much TV, apparently, because I haven't heard of most of the shows mentioned in this thread. Are most of these shows on Netflix or Hulu or something? I'm a dinosaur with only cable at my disposal. The majority of my TV watching is sports, and I don't want to figure out how else to find them all.

I'm in the "Suits" contingent. And I agree that I can't imagine where it will go next but I'll be watching. My new winter show pickup is "Colony" because I like weird alien stuff and Josh Holloway. "The Good Wife" has been a favorite and I'll be sad to see it go this season.

Conrad, I thought about watching "Mercy Street" but after recording the first five episodes and not being able to make myself sit down and watch it, I deleted them all last night. Sounds like I made the right decision.

I'd have to say I've grown attached to "Suits" ... the show is about a somewhat heartless law firm, but there is a lot of heart in it as well... the struggle of Mike Ross, in particular his love for Rachel and how he wants to go out of his way to help his clients has really made me become very attached to the show. Luis Litt is one of the most comical character I've seen on a TV show for a while.. they've done a very good job with him. The casting of Gabriel Mach for Harvey Specter is also spot on.

I know the ratings haven't been very good in the US, but here in NZ a contents provider has bought the rights to the show (we get to watch it the same day it is released in the US) and the show is getting more and more popular here. I suspect the same goes for Australia and many countries in Europe as well.

Just watched the second episode of this season of broad city.

So so so funny. Just hilarious.

If you are not watching this show start watching it.
Like right now. Thank me later.

(Not recommended for people who get offended easily however)

I do not believe either of the episodes this season have been up to the standards of the previous two seasons. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
