Do You Jazz Fans Like Any Other NBA Teams?

Actually we only lost by 27.
Final score was 122-95, and I'm telling you, a couple of baskets go in that didn't and we would've kill them. Raptors are the second best team in the East and we nearly killed them. It was a good night for our guys.
Tough break kid...if the Knicks hit a couple shots from the 20-point line they would've won in a landslide. I feel your pain, those heartbreaking/buzzer beating losses by 27 points can't be fun.

I'm mostly a fan of the college game. Also focus on NBA teams where guys who played local carve out careers. Hence, I hopped on the Jazz bandwagon when Cotton was here. Still rooting for Jazz after getting to know the team and being very impressed with Snyder. But, admittedly, not as involved since Cotton was cut. At the time, I was hoping Cotton would be a big part of the closeness I saw on this team when all the regulars were there during summer league. You don't always get teams where the guys all like each other on and off the court.

Being from RI, I'm also a life long Celtics fan. As such, I've been blessed watching great teams throughout my life. I was very glad to see the Big 3 of Pierce, Garnett, and Allen win one for the Celts.
But, Lamar Odom played at my alma mater, so I could not lose during the two most recent Celts-Lakers finals, and was really happy for Lamar when he got 6th man and got two rings. Otherwise, hate the Lakers, as any self respecting Celtics fan should, lol.

Die-hard Jazz. Second-tier fan of the Sixers, Spurs, Mavericks and Grizzlies.
Interesting mix.

Man it would be frustrating to be a philly fan right now. I have no problem with their strategy but damn that have made some bad picks and had some bad luck in these recent drafts. Whether the best guys getting taken right before their pick, their guy is injured, their guy gets traded, or they just blow the pick. The execution of the build through tanking and getting high drafts philosophy has been poor.

Noel missed a bunch of games. Is looking ok.
Embiid might be dead for all we know
Okafor. I don't like his game. Might be good.
Mcw, wins rookie of the year and promptly gets traded (not that he is all that great anyways)

I kind of like the raptors, celtics, and orlando.
But not that much really. Might watch them play for a little bit if they are on tv.

I used to really really love the nba in general but now I'm just a huge jazz fan and dgaf about the rest very much.

I can go back and watch stuff from the 80's and 90's golden eras and just be mesmerized by the talents that played. Now, not so much.

Grew up a Bulls fan. Switched to the Jazz during the Stockton/Malone years. Still somewhat follow the Bulls. I liked how Thibodeu coached his team. Now they're trash - although I do like Jimmy Butler.

Favorite players outside of the Jazz are almost all young guys with ridiculous upside. DeMarre Carroll, KAT, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Andrew Wiggins, Aaron Gordon and Myles Turner. Not necessarily a fan of their teams, but I try to follow their development. I'm still disappointed that the Jazz didn't really swing for the fences and pick Giannis and Rudy in 2013.

A future 9 man rotation of Gobert, Favors, Lyles, Antetokounmpo, Hayward, Hood, Burks, Exum and Mack would have been pretty damn fun to watch.

Thanks good insights. All my passion is with the Jazz right now. I grew up a die-hard Sixers fans in the 70s and 80s so went through lows to highs in the DrJ/ Moses/Toney/Cheeks/Jones era. Great teams. Then I moved from Philly and disconnected over the years. I am a very loyal person and not a fair weather fan.

I was in Utah in the 90s, became a huge fan and have hung on long after leaving the state. I've got this residual unmet need for the Jazz to win a Title -- being that close to a championship and now I desperately want the team to rise again.

And 8 years ago I returned to Philadelphia area and hope the Sixers rebuild, but I am no longer really vested with the Sixers.

Lucky you. Doc must be hell of a fun to watch every time.

Yes indeed. And Toney at his peak was a phenom -- Harden/ Westbrook comparable with a first step like none I've ever seen -- he lost his quickness "quickly" and fell fast, but for a few years he was incredible. And of course Chocolate Thunder was immensely entertaining.

RIP. One of my most favorite teams of all time.

I don't get how a fan can like multiple teams. Not questioning your fandom I just couldn't ever do it.

I get your point. I pretty much have always been a Jazz fan but since I don't live in Utah I watch and support the Mavs. That is unless they are playing the Jazz.

Sucks, was really looking forward to see that guy play.

Me too.
I would have taken him in that draft too. I can't really blame philly. He is a phenomenal talent. Closest thing to olijuwan I have seen. At least from what I saw in college

Too many injuries. Too many questions. I'd have done what the Jazz did and taken Exum to replace MCW.

I like Okafor's game. I think it can develop into something as dynamic and physical as he is now. As for MCW, I adored his game. I was amazed to see him go record a triple-double in his rookie season against (I think) Lebron James' team. But player development is a long road.

The NBA twitter account -or it might be NBA on ESPN- had shared a photo of the 3 names in the rookie ladder which goes like:

Karl Anthony Towns
Kristaps Porzingis
Jahlil Okafor

Both I believe are incredibly talented and will determine this league in the upcoming years. Let's just hope Rudy Gobert, Rodney Hood and Dante Exum will join the names among those.

Personally, I dislike the Bulls though I respect the fact that D. Rose never gave up after all those injuries. That bow on center court though...

I keep an eye out on Portland simply because Lillard went to Weber state and gets snubbed at the All star game year after year. Just wished he'd stopped torching us EVERYTIME.

Hate/ admire the Spurs. Wish that we'd stopped losing to them so much, I still remember the time before Pop was hired, we'd show up in SA and kick their asses, now though...

Intrigued by Minnesota because of all the young talent that they're developing without the engaging the tank.

I am indifferent to the rest of the league, however I ABSOLUTELY detests the Lakers, Clippers and Rockets
