What's new

What's the deal with Gobert? I am tired of the excuses that he must be tired and all, he isnt the only guy in the who played a lot year round and in his early 20s. Didn't he just had a week off during all star break, is he hurt or what?

He is also not the only guy that had bad stretches of games. It's just bad timing.

Please come back to us Alec Burks.

I just saw the Houston - Portland score from last night and did a double-take as POR was crushing them, but ended up losing by 14.

It's going to be an interesting race to see who can jockey for the playoffs in the bottom half of the west.

I saw that, it put the Jazz in 9th place again. I was hoping that Houston would follow their loss to the Jazz with a loss to the Jailblazers. I was really hoping the two loses to their rivals would weaken them, and the word that Harden demanded Dwightmare Howard be traded would be the deathblow. Guess, not.

Maybe there is still a chance they implode, when the two traded players come back, when Dwight does his Dwight thing, and Harden tries to play GM.

I'm not even mad. The Spurs are simply a far superior team.

Since when??? You aren't a Jazz fan if you're not radically reacting in an irrational way after every single game!!!

Oh... The Spurs have been better than us for nearly 20 years?

Well... ok then.

return of AB is needed!!!!!!

Just think next season the Jazz will get a healthy AB and the return of DE. It will be like signing two free agents, it will be so awesome that Lindsey probably won't have to make any other moves except to consider trading away the draft pick so they don't add more youth to an already young group.

But getting Exum back will be like an Free Agent signing.

Dating back to post all-star break last year...

Jazz in games w/ Burks/Gobert/Favors: 7-6
Jazz in games w/ Gobert and Favors, no Burks: 35-20

Buuuuut to be fair, the 13 games that all three of them played in together were against a really difficult schedule and mostly on the road.

So I was wrong when I said worse, but pretty much exactly the same. I don't see Alec moving the needle that much. Shelvin Mack might be as big of an addition as Alec Burks healthy.
