Andy Larsen summarized all MISSED calls for and against every NBA team in the Last Two Min reports

I believe this can be affected by the franchise's main men's influence over the association and the ref club. There are not so many things you can do to change the way things are right now as a player or a coach. But if the officials are shivering from getting on your bad side as the owners or GM, then you can make a difference.

Whenever I watch Jazz games I always feel like the refs screw us over, but I attributed a lot of that to a biased view. It seems like every fanbase gripes about the refs....but this makes me feel like I am actually seeing things as they really are. Still sucks that we get screwed over by the refs....but at least its not in my head

Over my years of watching the Jazz, there's been a lot of games every season where I distinctly remember thinking "Man, we are getting a pretty favorable whistle tonight."

This season, that has virtually never happened.

Because it's unclear from the graphic, are these all calls in the last 2 minutes of close games or only the calls that have been deemed incorrect?

Only the ones deemed incorrect. They also include the entirety of all OT periods.

Jazz players need football equipment out there for the way they get attacked, stupid N.B.A. refs stop this at once or you will be looking for a job with FIFA.

Should the Jazz miss the playoffs I would think the local businesses would have a legitimate complaint against the NBA for missed revenue opportunity. For us as fans it's frustrating but for others it has potential to affect the bottom line.

I love that the NBA has started doing these reports, though. It's definitely a step in the right direction.

This is some loser crap... They could call some kind of foul every single time down the court, It is just like football. Got to play thru the refs is what I was always taught. Got to just focus them out. Whining about fouls is what losers do and I am sorry but the Jazz are not losers in the NBA, They are middle of the pack..The fact someone keeps track of this says that person is a loser and most likely doesn't get laid ever. Not saying you are this guy but the guy who actually doing this and putting it up... Most likely some geek who has never picked up a ball in his life

Thanks for your completely uninformed contribution to the discussion.

Consistently one of the worst posters on the board. Would not buy from again. F-

You are right about one thing that usually, yelling about foul calls or missed calls are what losers like Lebron do, but the guy you refer to has shown a solid pattern there. And the insults you tried lowers your class. You just look at a picture and see a nerdy face and start bullying. I bet I would wipe the floor with you on court, big shot.

I split league pass games home versus away. Jazz announcers spend an inordinate amount of time talking about the calls, far fewer than other teams. Our announcers are always looking for an angle to find where the Jazz got screwed. I'm finding this persecution complex more and more annoying.

I do think we are getting short end of the stick 51/49 over the course of all of our games (stats show it is worse in last 2 minutes) -- but game outcome is almost always determined by other factors within our control.

As much as I disagree with NCJazz almost all the time, he is spot on this one time: "this is some loser crap" Please don't turn Jazzfanz into Clippers whiner-ville. Victim mentality = loser mentality. Please stop the insanity.

There's no question that the Jazz have themselves to blame. But the data is still pretty alarming - and according to A. Larsen, league sources say the data shows the Jazz at a major disadvantage overall, not just in the last two minutes.

I'd probably be more upset about this if the Jazz were playing better.

That's where I'm at. The old saying is, "if you let the refs beat you, you didn't play well enough to win."

Still, it's alarming to see the numbers.

A football player has shown a red card to the ref to throw him out of the game. Maybe a Jazz player can do something like this too. But I wouldn't recommend it. Just play the game and make the refs aware that you are not buying it and these miscalls will only pumps you up to play better. That's the way it should be.

Nevertheless, how can you deny the missed call of that blatant hook by Lopez on Gobert at the end of last game that was crucial in the final outcome. That was so blatant -- I noticed it on TV before the slow-motion replay. Yes, the Jazz still had opportunities but that missed or was it ignored call really screwed them.

On the other hand, I can see the loser mentality point of view. Perhaps the Jazz just need to fight through this and stop worrying about fouling, which results in those ticky-tacky calls. It seems sometimes that they're trying so hard not to foul that they end up with those ticky tacky calls. About the only guy who doesn't seem to worry about that is Chris Johnson who really gets after it and ironically doesn't get that many calls against him.

You can call it a loser mentality all you like but it is the responsibility of the NBA to make officiating as even and consistent as possible. I generally support officials while at the game and tell fans that was the correct call. There is zero doubt in my mind that the officiating will in the end cost the Jazz the playoffs this season. Lopez' hook and the no call on the Withey dunk against Houston are two direct losses I can think of off the top of my head. Should the Jazz have done better and not been in those situations sure, fine. That does not change the fact that they lost due to officiating. With as many close games as we have had this year and in a race as tight as it is that will be enough. Officiating effects the flow of the game. People complain that Hayward is not a number one option. If he got the calls of most teams number one options we would be competing for home court instead of eighth. Hayward is like a pinball being bounced around the key with never a call

Exactly, and tonight Amir Johnson was holding onto Rudy off the missed free throw, when the Jazz could've gotten it back and had a chance to tie or win, and used it to propel himself to the loose ball -- this really blows. Wtf is up with this officiating?
