- Gobert is still SOLID.

- Favors is always SOLID. And is a potential All Stars (if healthy)

- Hayward has been SOLID.

- Hood has been SOLID. And is a potential All Stars (if healthy).

- Lyles has shown that he can be SOLID (given time).

- Exum is going to be SOLID (once he comes back).

Our FO has done a great job of creating a SOLID team (albeit missing that X-factor). But if that is all that we're missing, I think that's a pretty SOLID place to be, don't you think?

I know we've lost a few in a row, but all in all, we are still SOLID.

Solid doesn't win championships and unless we have 1 or 2 guys that are exceptional then we have little chance of doing anything going forward. We need a real go too guy and play Hayward as the second fiddle. We don't have that guy and I know were searching, but until then.... Real Mediocrity is a reality.

Well don't forget what DL is trying to do, Utah isn't typically a place where big name FAs flock to, but by creating a SOLID culture and a SOLID team, he is making the Jazz much more attractive to potential FAs.

I really do think we are 1 player away and only 1-2 years away from being in the upper echelon in the West.

I hope you are correct. I hope I live to see the day the Jazz win it all. Until then... Keep on fighting.

Why would you not say that Hayward is a potential all star? He is currently better than Favors or Hood. He even got all star consideration this year. If the Jazz win at a higher percentage, Hayward would be an all star.

With this defense, I believe we are one big star player away from contending. Is Exum that guy? i don't know. But it gives me a boner to think about.

Solid thread. Now I have some solids to dispose of, which is exactly where the last three seasons have gone.

The talent is there to be a solid team. I don't expect championships with this roster, but being in the playoffs should be the minimum expectation for the foreseeable future. If Exum lives up to his superstar potential that some saw for him, then this team could really take off. We will see what happens.

Next season we need to show significant improvement on the court. If we are not a 50+ win team in 2016-17 it will be time for changes.

Dude, how dumb are you? We drafted gobert, Hood, Exum, Neto, and Lyles in the last three seasons. These guys are all very good players with a ton of potential. We can either develop them or trade them for someone awesome if they don't fit. How is it that you see only ****? Are you like super depressed or something?

The cake has been delicious.

Neto has a ton of potential ? Maybe as a male model for A&F. I agree about Hood and Lyles. Both could be decent starters. Exum...who knows? Based on his rookie season, it's iffy. And his injury WILL take away some of his quickness...which was the only thing that gave us hope; it certainly wasn't his shooting nor playmaking.

Haha.. is this the first time you've read a Stifle's post? He's always been like this. His style is tough love.

I think Neto is and will be better than anyone here has expected. He has made tremendous improvement since the start of the season.

how do you rate Hayward as just SOLID this year ??? I would rate his year as STELLAR !

Well I think even he would rate his own performance as SOLID this year instead of stellar... I just don't think he has quite taken that proverbial 'next step'.

Neto is turning 24 years old this year too, so IDK how much improvement can really be expected.
