Who are you??

Another story about my 2 year old. Her nick name is Buddha.

My wife was just at home with Buddha and her younger brother. She was playing with the baby on the living room floor and Buddha came running into the room and jumped hard on her moms back. When my wife asked her why Buddha said and I quote "Deez nuts!" laughed and left the room. Gonna whoop her older sisters for teaching her that...

When you're done whooping her will you have her call me and explain what this is all about?

There are some short videos going around the internet with a black guy telling jokes with the punch line being "deez nuts" then he yells "got'em!". Kids think its funny and taught their little sister.

Edit: for the record I find it funny as hell and so did my wife but we cant let the kids know that.

I also think those videos agree hilarious. There are a ton of them and they are all funny.
I heard it originated from ellen degeneras having obama on her show and the guy called in and made his punch line to obama. I have no idea if that is true but it's what I heard.

I saw the deez nutz guy get interviewed on the tosh.0 show btw. He needs a new grill

Better look for the cat in the doghouse

I am avoiding the work I should be doing right now.

I'm 40, married with 3 kids. My oldest will be in high school next year; not sure how that happened. We live in Sandy, UT. I'm a freelance copywriter, so I write a lot of advertising, blog posts, articles, etc for businesses (which is incidentally what I should be doing now). I like to sing (classical & musical theater).

I've been a Jazz fan since I was a kid. For years I had a Stockton poster on my bedroom wall, surrounded by fake autographed pictures of all the other members of the team. It was a shrine, basically. My dad picked up those photos for me one day from Hot Rod Hundley's restaurant. Anyone remember that? I won tickets on the radio to All-Star Saturday Night when it was held at the Delta Center. I think Blue Edwards was in the dunk contest that year?? Still have a couple souvenirs from that night.

We have 2 dogs: a border collie/lab mix and an Australian shepherd mix. We also raise ducks (yep, ducks). We have 5 grown ones now and just got 4 ducklings last week. If we needed further confirmation that we're nuts, I think that was it.

Oh, and my 11-year-old son plays a mean banjo.

Lovely temperament those dogs you have

Our border collie is super sweet and affectionate. Our Aus. shep has potential but has some anxiety issues we are trying to sort out. I'm basically the only person in the family she isn't scared of. But as a shelter pup we don't know what her past was like, so we are trying some different things with varying success so far. I guess she and I have an understanding and I'm not willing to give up on her. :)

I have two mixed dogs.

Nana is a 1 1/2 year old Lab-Rottweiler mix. She looks like a rot but has the temperament of a lab around the kids. Till they are threatened of course, than she is all rot. Sweet till its time for business but not the brightest tool in the shed.

Gizmo is a 5 year old Dachshund-****zu mix. Much smarter but starting to get grumpy and slow. Good with the kids and an excellent beta male in the house. Any time my voice raises he runs over to me and stands by me. if I continue to go he will start barking at who ever I am talking to (except wife and the kids). When given the proper cut he looks like a schnauzer.

Hi all,

I'm a normal sized dude, somewhere between 0-100 in age. I have a family with some people in it. I used to live in a place for a while and now I live here(here) which is where I may or may not have been born. There's a school that I used to go to, then I stopped and went to another school where I graduated. I've been known to kick a ball from time to time and also bounce one. I can throw too. I'm better at kicking tho. I've made money through employment before, and I still do, although, the form of employment now is different than before. I'm an interesting character. I know a couple of minorities, they're my friends. I once did a risky thing or had something unfortunate occur. I learned a lot and am totally good now. I'm fluent in Korean.

Oh, hey. I remember you. I met you at that place that time. Good times.

The music is ****ing FANTASTIC. I've shared your emails with many of my friends already-- I can't believe I've forgotten to give you feedback. It's really dope that you do that, and your taste in music is seriously sublime.

I appreciate the kind words. Feel free to send me your friend's email addresses and I can add them to the distribution list...

I'm 24 years old. 6'3'' and around 210 lbs. I have black hair, rather white/brown skin color and blue eyes. I speak French, English, German, Swiss German, Turkish and some Arabian. I was born in Switzerland but I have Arabian origin. My dad has passed three years in Turkey because of his job and my girlfriend is from Turkey. That's also why I have a mancrush on Kanter but I was never a big fan of Okur. I have the Bachelor Degree of Law, I studied at the University of Zurich (where Kanter's dad did his Master/Doctor). I will travel and work a year and then I want to start my Master. I live near to Zurich.

I love Basketball and I started to love the Jazz back in 98 where I played NBA Live 99 with Stockton and Malone. I like literature and history. I like cooking and working out. I have an interest for different countries, religions, cultures and so on. I prefer to drink something in a bar or eating something with friends, chilling and watching movies instead of loud and superficial parties. I'm quite a lazy person.

From the look of his most recent posts, I don't believe this user is around anymore...I'm guessing he's posting on some OKC board now.

Nice to meet you.

Great intro.

Holy **** on the kids! I assume they are all from the wife of 15?! I can't even imagine having six children. Mind boggling. I'm also happy to know that you have the means to take care of them. I've been meaning to PM you in regards to some posts you've made in certain threads. I'm sure I'll get to it soon enough.

Do you really think there's a benefit to limiting sleep to six hours max? And does that mean you regularly get four hours of sleep?

Are you aware of the link between lack of sleep and alzheimers?

I'm definitely a 7-8hr per day sleeper. No shame in my game.
