#64 The Jazz go to Alcatraz: Wednesday Mar 9, 2016 8:30 Pm Mtn

Is it just my eyes or is Rudy becoming a rebound hog? couple of plays I noticed Rudy did a fine job of making sure Favs didn't get the board. I think his game is going south partially due to him chasing stats a little too much

I'm glad someone out there isn't a *****. Seeing how little effort favors plays with it wouldn't surprise me if Rudy is rebounding the **** out of the ball.

Lol

Yep. Keep tellin yourself that

It's called SARCASM. I'm Mr. Pessimist, remember?
I've been the only voice calling out Lindsey for his inaction in spending money to bring in a bench. Sorry for not putting "sarcasm alert" at the end of my post. Since I'm the drama queen who overreacts to everything, I didn't think it was needed.

There have been 3 seasons in recent memory that have been complete wastes of time abortions.

04-05, when we signed boozer and Okur we thought for sure we were playoff bound... Until ak and boozer broke and the wheels fell off.

That last season with Jefferson andnmillsap where we kept all the vets merely to let them walk away for nothing in the end.

And this one. This one has truly Been a waste of time. Our offense is painful to watch and our defense often times sucks. Hayward, favors, Gobert are who they are. Good nice role players. But half our roaster belongs in the d league, we don't have a NBA PG, and our coach sucks at drawing plays in the last min.

DL has some serious work to do this offseason. We aren't even close to competing. Can we just forfeit the rest of our games and just plan for the draft? We need a solid 3-4 new draft picks to replace the garbage on our bench.and it sure would be nice if we at least attempted to try free agency

And my post wasn't sarcasm?

Can't disagree with you there (two posts ago).
The middle one is kind of hard to argue, though. DL had not yet won the "rebuild" fight. Jefferson and Mo were goners, but Millsap, DMC and even Foye could very well have been brought back along with signing a veteran PG (KOC's "retool" strategy). The Jazz had $30M in cap space to do so. All three were still on the market when DL got the okay to do the GS deal. I think they expected Utah to make them all offers. Millsap, in particular, had to take a HUGE salary hit. He probably could have signed elsewhere for more had he started negotiating with teams on day #1 of free agency.

Sorry, Thriller. Looks like I missed YOUR sarcasm.

You're being a little harsh in your self appraisal

Just reflecting how a lot of others have portrayed me on this board. I'd probably do better in NY or Philly, where fans are very harsh on their teams if/when they deserve it. But I've been a Jazz fan for 35 years. It pains me to see this franchise where it's at right now. And I'm VERY concerned it isn't all DL's doing. Jazz don't have an owner vested in winning, They have a board directing expenditures and a bunch of kids living off the team their dad built. It's not a situation conducive to spending big to contend.

"Curry is 4 for 11 on shots from 40-plus feet (36.4 percent) this season and 13 of 27 (48.1) from 30 feet and beyond"

DAMN! You could handicap him and he'd still run circles around the rest of the league. You have to say he's having the best season EVER for a shooter. And on the heels of an MVP year. Obviously he needs a few more years at an elite level, but we're seeing a player who may very well end up in the top-20 of all time.

He already is the greatest shooter of all-time, and this season for him stacks up with among the greatest any player has ever had.
