yep, probabilities are funny that way. the simpler way to look at it is just wins and losses, but the probability adds a bit of insight.
 
Hornets were down 19 at half, now down 6 at the end of the 3rd.


Pray for Marv and Batum
 
If the Hornets can't pull this off, this is going to be a really *****y day for our playoff aspirations.
 
Game over, Mavs win.

Now the Jazz are probably going to have to win at least one game they're not supposed to. And they have no Hayward tonight and for who knows how long. Really not good.
 
Last night's recap:

JAZZ WIN! Against the Cavs down 3 core members of this team. No Hayward, Burks or Exum! That 4th Q by Lyles!!! Frye will remember those elbows next time.

Mavs, Rockets, Thunder, Suns and Warriors won. A Rockets and Mavs loss was needed.

Blazers lost! So did Grizzlies, Wolves, Pelicans and Nuggets.

Jazz are 2 1/2 games out of 6th right now and 2 games out of 7th and 8th.

Screw the pro-tank crowd. I'd really like this young team to make the playoffs - even if it's against the Warriors or Spurs. Nobody expects us to win even a single game against those two teams, so there's no pressure. Just go out, do their best and hope that they get healthy while the Warriors have a couple of timely sprained ankles.
