I think there is some dirk in there for sure
Certainly but I feel something more is in there. Like some Kiri's reflexes to block. And Sabonis type of feel for the game.

LolzI was on YouTube and somehow got onto NBA fights. Well they showed one between Houston and Portland. Beverly knocked down Lillard and then stood over him as he tried to get up so Lillard shoved him away. At that point everyone comes running over and they try to break it up. Well Beverly wasn't done and jumps back into it and encounters Meyrs Leonard. Beverly shoves him straight in the chest and Leonard doesn't even move and Beverly's own push showed himself back a couple steps. Leonard looked at him like "what the heck was that?!" then started laughing about it with other players and that ended it.
Was pretty funny to see Leonard not even move and wonder what Beverly was trying to do.

He explained it badly. It's really not that entertaining.

dude that's an insult to Sabonis. Did you ever see him play in his prime before he got to the NBA ?
I would never blaspheme against one of my most favorite players of all time, so I'm sorry if it sounded that way.
Porzingis' game just gives me the kind of vibe that a young Sabonis would give with his above his age basketball brains. So of course this example is just a improvisation for me to try and call what type of player he is and he can become, even though I don't like to call players "he is the next this he is the next that".
Here's a retro no look reverse pass:

That clutch moment that would make Soviet Union beat the USA but it didn't count for obvious reasons...

This guy does not even have to look...

I feel these things are familiar to a Sabonis fan.
While we opened this topic, let's relive some moments that Sabonis enjoys the game over a crazy cold war dream team:

Who do you think his game reminds of? Or maybe what kind of combination?
Marcus smart and Matt Barnes? Wtf.![]()
58 triple-doubles, by 20 players. First time in this millennium that more than 50 triple-doubles is recorded. Last time there was at least 60 in a season was back in 89-90.
Matt Barnes? Wtf.
A jazz player should be able to get one if those two can
But matt barnes doe. I don't consider him ball dominant. You would need a ball dominant all around player for triple doubles. There are multi talented players in the team but none really tried to explode for a triple double. Give them time I say.
But matt barnes doe. I don't consider him ball dominant.
And Marcus smart barely plays right?
Accidents happen I said bro. The only balls Matt Barne would have dominance over is Serge Ibaka's chocolate salty balls.
Smart's TD was borderline as he came off the bench to score 10 grab 11 and dish 11.
Now for triple double, a fast paced game would help. Because that way, you can touch the ball more and score double digits easily while there can be a lot of missed shots which you can get ready to rebound. Also if you have enough of a court vision and are in a position in the rotation to orchestrate the ball, then you can have a good amount of assists. For acquiring both three you would have to be really active on the court though. For some cases, let's say like Rudy Gobery or Hassan Whiteside, they can someday block double digit balls to note a triple double. Or extremely explosive defensive backcourt players can steal double digit balls. Like imagine Smart stealing 10 balls and blocking 10 shots too that game. Borderline QUINTUPLE DOUBLE!!!!!!!! It will happen someday bro. Book it on the collar of your dog. One day if it runs away, it will return to you on the day of the 1st quintuple double and everyone will say, addictionary told us this would happen. Let us suck his balls.
“Just a few days ago, Little Chris asked me, ‘Daddy, will you play in the Olympics again?’” Paul said. “Part of me wanted to say yes, because he’s never been part of it. But I told him, ‘I want to spend more time with you.’” Paul, a fixture at his son’s Little League complex and basketball gym even during the NBA season, opted to stay home.
