Chucker connotates to low efficiency.

Is there any other player in the league MORE efficient than Steph Curry?
Don't forget. He is light skinned too.

He's a chucker because he chucks up shots regardless of who is open and who isn't on his team, even if he's being defended (albeit poorly because most are afraid of getting a foul for breathing on him), regardless of if he's making his poor shot selection doesn't disregard most of his shots aren't the most open or best shots on the court at that point.

Don't forget. He is light skinned too.
Very true.

Methinks there's a hater in the house...

Curry averages 6.6 ast/game. He also gets held constantly trying to run through screens virtually all game long.

Your opinions are terrible.

Um a good shot is a shot that goes in the most. It has nothing to do with how it looks. He shoots a great percentage so this is really one of the worst arguments ever.

His PER is highest all time (or was) he's doing things no one else has done. Does that put him in the GOAT discussion? Of course not. But to disregard what he or the Warriors are doing is lunacy.

You've started your Jazzfanz career with a series of incredibly bad posts.

Lol lots of bandwagon fans of Curry here. Pretty hilarious how guest team fans want to see the next Michael Jordan so hard.

Another genius to grace us with his presence.

My entire point is that he is being put in that discussion by vanilla fans (not unlike yourself) consistently because of one year. You're too busy being a pretentious dickbag but I guess I can't expect much from someone who nicknames himself "BAWSE DAWG" on a jazz forum Lol.

Oh and a "good shot selection" is not the same as a "good shot". Low BB IQ vanilla fans get those mixed up far too often and has elevated a spot shooter to a Top 10 player just by jumping on the bandwagon.

Mediocre defense
Good penetration
Great shooting
1 Year

But yeah "incredibly bad posts" for not jumping on the dick sucking train you seem content on. ;)

One year? Are you talking this mvp year and probable record breaking year and likely championship?
Or last year's mvp year, championship and record breaking (3 point attempts) year?

This year, I'm certainly not talking about the injury-riddled NBA League last year.

He has been in the league 7 years and been quite good in all of them (though admittedly not at mvp levels)

I those 7 years he has never averaged less than 17 points and 6 assists per 36.
For his career (7 years remember) he is shooting 90% from the line, 44% from 3, and 48% from the field.

One year? Pfft

Rockets lead the league in 15+ point comebacks (Currently 8)

Teams sure love choking against the Rockets.

Golden State leads the league in assist rate. In fact, Curry's individual assist rate and the team's assist rate is virtually identical.

Curry is fourth in points per shot, trailing only centers. He leads the league in true shooting percentage.

Basically any random shot his teammates take, any shot taken by Curry is a better bet.

Curry is 4th in usage rate,

Curry is the most efficient player in basketball by a wide margin with the fourth highest usage in basketball. Can't underrate results.

I could go look up off dribble and off drive percentages to pretty easily dispel your "spot up shooter" notion, but you already have your narrative, so it won't matter.

We'll see come playoff time when people can actually play defense on him without being called for fouls. I shall be sure to bump your posts when they are eliminated after getting 73 wins.

I fail to see how eschewing a contested shot made at 45% rate for three points for an open shot made at 40% rate for three is a worse shot selection.

Don't feel like looking into points per possession on specific plays, but Curry's iso/pull up threes would likely fare well against any other look the Warriors use.

In any case, Warrior's offense works due to Curry's threat from 30 feet. If Curry didn't take and make those shots, Warrior's offense wouldn't be as good as it is.

I'll give you the field and i'll take the Warriors for the championship.

What are the stakes?

Not outside the possibility that Golden State loses, especially to the Spurs, an all time great team, and maybe the Cavs because of LeBron being one of the greatest players in history.
