The game was there for the taking and the Jazz just didn't get the bounces at the end. Tough break. But, we still have a few games left to put our stamp on the season and get into the playoffs this year.

I wouldn't put it past them to win out at this point.

Something about the Jazz playing the Spurs is so ****ing infuriating. They are just so crafty, even though were in this I still feel like the Spurs will pull something out of their ***.

This is how I've felt for the last 15 years. Watching The Jazz play the Spurs is like getting root canal done. It's so god damn tedious. It's by far the least fun I have watching The Jazz play - low scores, long scoring droughts and just when you think they're going to make a run, SAS finds a different way to shut you down or score points.

I'd rather Utah get the 8th seed and play GSW in the first round.

Chris johnson last night: 0-2, zero points, zero rebounds, zero assists, zero steals, zero blocks. At least he had zero turnovers. (in his defense he only played 2 minutes according to the box score.)

Raul neto last night: 0-2, zero points, 1 rebound, zero assists, zero steals, zero blocks, 2 turnovers in 13 minutes.

If burks was back then cj gets zero minutes and the triple wing lineup takes some of neto's minutes too.
Jazz gotta keep cashing in those insurance checks doe.

A couple of other things I wanted to mention, Shelvin Mack has a tremendous floater, the Spurs were willing to let him take it. They were willing to let lyles shoot mid range jumpers too. Amazing how the Spurs defense allows for the low percentage shots. It must be really hard for the players to pass up open shots to find higher percentage shots.

Mack could restrain from shooting those okay shots, so he played a lot of minutes. Lyles could not keep from shooting so he got pulled.

The Spurs actually got a fast break off one of his 3-pt misses - ugh.

While I was naturally elated that The Jazz made a run in the 4th - the reality is it did nothing more than put a wet Band-Aid on the bigger problem regarding Utah's lack of depth. Let's face it - that was a 1 in 20 game shooting performance by Ingles. Without it this game never gets close. You obviously can't depend on that every game against the top shelf teams.

While I don't have delusions of grandeur I'd at least want to see Utah give their first round opponent run for their money - kind of like OKC did a few years back against LAL right before they became a top shelf team.

DL said something recently, unprompted during the SLC Stars press conference, that he would self-evaluate his decision to trust the bench as is.

And lmfao, Spurs had a bad game and Jazz had a good game, and you still lost and a lot of posters are saying this team will be better than Spurs in 2 years time. Holy ****.

You've just lost a lot of credibility. I love DFav. But Kawhi is top 5-10ish in league. Dfavis top 20-30ish.

I read it as not comparing him to Kawhi - he was comparing him to LaMarcus Aldridge.

Which by the way I agree - given the choice between Favors and LMA I think most folks would pick Favors.

Yeah a lot of these posters are absolutely delusional. I don't even have any words for this level of stupidity tbh.
He was comparing favors to aldridge, not Leonard, silly guys.

IDK why you went with a gallon of milk since it's bigger and heavier than a basketball.

my two year old son can hold a gallon of milk, yet not catch, or hold a basketball.

a gallon of milk has a 2 inch diameter handle, thus, i can hold a gallon of milk with one hand much better than hold a basketball with one hand.

Depends if you mean for the moment or long term. For the next 2 -3 years I think Aldridge is a pretty easy pick between the too. If you are picking someone to build on for the future, well yea its Favors, he is much much younger.

If your a win now team though Aldridge is a no brainer between the two.

Why are you throwing a gallon of milk at your 2 year old?

What has Aldridge ever won?

I see 5 playoff appearances and 4 first round exits. Hell the Blazers future looks better with him out of the picture.

Just find it hard to believe your 2 year old can catch a gallon of milk and not catch a basketball. Gallon of milk weighs at least 8 pounds and a properly inflated regulation basketball weighs at most 1 pound (probably not even that).

I disagree, it is not a no-brainer. The two players have different strengths but more importantly they are used very differently. If I were coach I would pick Favors over Aldridge, but I also would make sure that Favors had more than 5 shots.
