I believe the plan was always to bring him back for the Clippers game so he can bury Pierce in the ground so badly that he has to retire at that very moment, or his soul just leaves his body... either way. Basically combining the following except it would be Pierce at the end.

I wish I had the time to find the gif of Burks dunking on the Clippers and then put Pierce's head on DeAndre's and then add that coffin from the last .gif (I know I've scene one where they made a spirit leave his body as well but couldn't find it).

I think someone already said this in some other thread, but I could be wrong.

I don't think he should play. I hear he can kick a ball further with his right leg then his left leg.

He didn't play against the Spurs because he fell down earlier that morning while performing a pas de deux with Trey Lyles. Bad balance!
Under Lindsey's command, they were rehearsing one of the famous scenes from White Nights. Trey was playing the part of Mikhail Baryshnikov while Burks had the role of Gregory Hines. Deeming it too advanced, Lindsey had Burks perform a solo dance from Swan Lake this afternoon, which he was able to do satisfactorily.

I think I just learned about balet. Neat.

I am not too excited for this. We have been playing lights out for 14 games or so.

It takes at least several games to get back in the flow both fo him and the team.

This may actually **cost** us the playoffs....

I don't think he will play that many minutes if he is not effective, and I don't see how he can be any worse than playing CJ. Certainly, he will be game rusty, but apparently he has been healed for a long time now and should be able to play at 100 percent. That's more than you can say for Rudy or Derrick or Gordon, all who have had injuries from which they are not completely healed.

Ya I don't think we need to worry about burks playing timid, or not being in shape, or not being 100% healthy... And tbh I'm pretty sure he has been practicing with his teammates so chemistry shouldn't be too big of an issue.

You never know, maybe watching and learning and getting extra rest will make him play great from the get go.

he's essentially replacing CJ for now, who shoots 36%/27%. I don't think it will be an issue.

He may need a few games to shake the rust off, but lets be clear: There is no way, shape, or form that this Jazz team is better off playing the likes of Ingles/Johnson off the bench as opposed to an Alec Burks who is trying to play back into form.

This... I don't think the key to our chemistry is CJ missing a ton of shots. AB has played with these guys longer and will find his rythymn without being much of a disruption... Who knows maybe we won't go on one of our patented scoring droughts.

I want Pierce to be in that game defending Burks...Burks throws down an ESPN highlight worthy monster slam on Pierce (as he's falling on his ***), when Burks is on his way down, he lands on Paul Pierce's vagina causing a season ending injury. Clippers are devestated that they lose their veteran presence for the playoffs. Karma strikes again!
