Jazz Locker-room Cleanout & Exit Interviews 2016

A lot of people thought CJ was going to be good too. He played well last year.

I also liked CJ and he had a good SL. Ingles was better last year too, but neither showed enough promise not to acquire another dude. I was pro adding a guy then and have continued to beat that drum.

Outside of Kanter who we would not have touched... What was the worst contract handed out? Could we have lived with that result?

Who's beating us in the 4th quarters, when our defense is miserable? Hint: it isn't big guys.

Defending the perimeter in the 4th quarter, when the officiating changes, is its own skill set. We need somebody who's good at it, and to let Hayward focus more on buckets.

Lol. This post is all kinds of unconvincing-- and the lack of stats is only a part of it.

What the heck is "active rest"??

Working out without taxing your body with in game basketball activities... Strength and conditioning but not game wear and tear.

Maybe Carroll's permiter D could have helped Rodney shoot better than 9.1% against Dallas, or 26.3% vs. LA.

To anyone with eyes and intellectual honesty, our biggest need is offense. I'm not sure how you can watch the Jazz for 3 minutes without realizing this. We need offense, and we need it badly.

Alec Burks' intervention got me very hyped. He's the hungriest of them all, he doesn't only want to be great, he assures that he IS going to take that next step and that he IS going to be great.

have you been living under a rock. Even Locke is talking about the defensive meltdowns in the 4th quarter. Do I have to hold your hand through everything?

Booker talked about utah like kevin durant would like living here. He was basically foreshadowing the jazz signing durant this offseason.

It's a done deal guys. Durant will wear a jazz uni next year. Jazz win titles.

Durant is the frosting to our cakkkkkkkkkkkkk

Can you dudes arguing over details please take that convo somewhere else...Im just here for the EOS updates.

If Durant came he'd be the cake and the frosting... I'd also Jazz in my pants.

Would that be skipping steps doe?

Burks is exactly the type of player we need when the game is on the line, someone fearless who can either shoot or take it to the hole. Hayward has done a pretty good job of that but Burks is like Dexter, always ready to go for the kill.

Nah. Booker says he doubts he'll be here next year, thinks Lyles will become an Allstar.

Yes, Booker was very frank. I will miss him.

Many reporters are praising Trey Burke for his character and professionalism. He could have opened up on the Jazz, but he has maintained his composure and dignity. Nice work Mr. Burke.

Anyone interested in him will look into his locker room comments. Smart of him to act professional.

Perhaps something a 6'6 Exum can help with as he showed he was a great perimeter defender. He can hold down almost all PGs and SGs.

Locke speaking right now, talking about the advantages of the 12 pick over the 14 pick. Did I miss hear him? Did he say that the Jazz will most likely be trading the pick so it is better to have a higher pick.

Locke said last year the Jazz made huge effort to get into top 5 last year and into the top 10 to target two players, but no-one was interested. Locke said both deals at the deadline were significant and he thinks one of them will come back around this summer as a free agent, but he wouldn't give up the name.

I was trying to remember who was connected to the jazz by rumours that will be a free agent. Eric Gordon? Ty Lawson?

Eric Gordon and the injuries would be a perfect fit for the jazz.

DL dropped hints that something might happen and that they tried this draft and season but it fell through. I have seen the words/phrases "veteran", "shooter", "cap space" and "picks" used.

Trey Lyles: I don't want to compare myself to anyone because I don't want to put a limit on myself.

Lyles correcting Locke on game stats. Awesome.

Now Joe Ingles sits in and interviews Lyles. Hilarious!
