I went with non-guaranteed player who we immediately cut.

We then get a lifetime of HT threads updating on said player's d-league exploits.

I am guessing a couple spots higher in the coming draft.

lmao

There is a better chance the league rescinds the Rockets victories due to Howard's stick-um issue and we get a last second notice we have made the playoffs than anyone letting us move up in the draft for Trey Burke.

If that is the case... aren't the Jazz better off just waiving Trey themselves. He is on a team option, so they could just not pick up his option.

I think he will be packaged with Favors, Burks, or Hayward.

I chose keep him.. even though I think thats unlikely. If he improves in the offseason he could be servicable and could showcase for a trade at the deadline. He did shoot it better this season, i'm interested to see if that will continue.

IMO he was best playing next to Burks this season

He might be one of those players that gets his **** together during a contract season too.. who knows. the risk isn't that high with the depth here.

The option was picked up last year I'm pretty sure. You pickup the 3rd and 4th year at the same time.

The Jazz would save money by trading him for non-guaranteed contracts and cutting them rather than just waiving Burke.

I'm saying he gets packaged with some second rounders for a late first.

You have my attention. Trade three 2nd rounders and Burke for a late 1st. I like it. I love it. We get Luwawu early and Maker later.

Boing!

I think a team who needs to fill a hole would take him. A good team for him is Detroit. I'd see Burke and our worst 2nd for their best 2nd round pick.
